➠ Jordyn Tala Belmont
The name Jordyn has Hebrew origins and refers to the act of flowing down, akin to the Jordan River. Although, Jordyn's name was mostly just chosen because her parents wanted a name that sounded sweet and started with "J" to match the name Juniper, which was the name they chose for which ever twin was born first (her sister). Jordyn's middle name is the name of the goddess of the morning and evening stars in Tagalog and translates to "bright star". It was chosen by both her parents, to honor their Filipino heritage, and how when she was born they say that she looked like a shining star from the start. Her last name, Belmont, is an English last name that is attached to her father, as he was adopted when he was young and taken to London, never knowing his birth family.

Jordyn Tala Belmont was born on July 15th, 10 minutes after her twin sister, Juniper Reyna Belmont. The children of Isa Belmont and Gregorio Belmont, residing in Hampstead, London. Jordyn's parents met in the Philippines, where her mother was born and grew up and her father visited for a surgeon schooling residency. Her father was also born in the Philippines, which was why he chose to travel there for his senior college residency, but was adopted by a couple in London as a baby. The couple dated for a year before getting married and moving to Hamstead, London to start their family. Isa is an established real estate agent in the area, and Gregorio is a successful surgeon.

Jordyn stands at a height of 5'2" with excellent posture (when she wants to) and a very open and welcoming stance. Her frame is very petite, in school she would often get teased for how small her wrists and waist were. She never really took it to heart, especially knowing that she ate plenty, since she was such a lover of snacks. She has many freckles on her face, a little bit of an insecurity of hers growing up but learning to love them. She is usually wearing thick black eyeliner and mascara, a signature look she has had for herself since middle school and she likes it that way. Her hair is usually just brushed and down, with her messy bangs handing in front of her face. Although, she is known for changing her hair style and color drastically at times, usually before a big trip or concert. She says it helps her celebrate a new chapter. She has come tattoos, but mostly doodles marker and pen on herself the most. Her smile is her favorite thing about herself, and she has even experimented with temporary tooth gems to help her smile sparkle a little more. When it comes to style, Jordyn loves to be comfortable and loves a good bargain. She thrifts most of her clothes or borrows them from her sister, who has a lot more clothes than she does. She gets overwhelmed buying new things sometimes so she thinks it's easier to just borrow from Juniper since they are the same size.

Jordyn is called a "lil' ray of sunshine" by practically anyone who interacts with her for more than 5 minutes. Ever since she was a little girl, she has been very energetic, excitable and bubbly. All she wants to do is make others smile and laugh as much as she possibly can. Even on days where she isn't her brightest and sunshiney self, she tries to still keep a smile on her face. She adores her twin sister, who is much more quiet and reserved than she is. When Jordyn cares about you, she will practically do anything to help you be the best version of yourself that you can be. she will be your biggest cheerleader and your strongest supporter.
Sometimes, Jordyn struggles with making more solid connections with others, because of how passionate and excitable she is. Some people have told her that she is "too much" and that she needs to "calm down a bit" but that just isn't who she is. When she is passionate about something, she gives it her all, and she loves being passionate about things.

"Gender Identity, Sexuality & Romantic Preferences"Jordyn was assigned female at birth, and continues to identify with such and using she/her pronouns. She is Pansexual/Panromantic, open to loving anyone who loves her back and finding herself more attracted to people's personalities rather than their gender or looks. She does not have a lot of relationship experience, as most of her crushes growing up ended up friend-zoning her. She never really minded this, as she loves friends, but she always felt like maybe she was lacking something romantically that people needed. She gets stuck in her head about it sometimes, but really just loves having people around that care about her and that she can care about as well, not focusing on romantic relationships as much.
"Mental Health"Even though Jordyn is a little ball of excitable energy, she has a lot of anxieties and insecurities when it comes to making friends and having long term dynamics with people. She is always super friendly but as she grows closer to people she feels more doubts and nervousness with people getting sick of her or tired of her company. Other than her anxieties surrounding long term platonic/romantic relationships, her mental health is generally fine and manageable.
"Career & Living Situation"Jordyn lives with her twin sister Juniper in a small apartment outside of the neighborhood they grew up in in London. They both love to travel, so they are often found in various Air BnBs around the world and don't consider their little apartment their "home". They like to call the world their home, and being together creating and sharing music their home. Career wise, Jordyn is a singer, songwriter and musician. She does some solo work, but mostly does work with her sister in their duo band (sometimes taking in a local drummer or additional guitarist). Jordyn's favorite thing to do is perform for children and schools, and charity events. They don't make as much money at those gigs, if any at all, but those truly make her the happiest.
"Relationship with Twin"Jordyn is extremely close with her twin sister Juniper. They always have been very close, even in times when they felt not as connected. Growing up, their parents would occasionally compare the two to each other, trying to motivate them to be their best versions of themselves, but the twins quickly learned that this created angst and tension between them. After about a week of them not talking to each other because of a big fight in elementary school, they vowed to each other in private to never compare themselves to each other and to promise to only help the other sister, or embrace her for who she already is. Since that day, they have made the perfect team together. Juniper has managed to find more of a place within some long term friends while Jordyn still struggles with that and finding her independence from her sister, but they still always find time for each other.

+++GROWING UP:
Jordyn and her identical twin sister, Juniper, grew up in a nice neighborhood in Hampstead, London with their mom and dad. Their parents paid for Jordyn and Juniper to attend high prestige private schools from kindergarten, all the way through high school. The girls' parents wanted them both to be perfect, something that was impossible for anyone. But the girls worked together to play off of each other's strengths to help each other through every social and educational situation they faced.
Juniper was much better at Math and English, while Jordyn excelled in Science and History. Wherever one of the girls may have lacked in a skill, the other would help the sister out so that they both could impress their parents to the best of their ability.
While Jordyn was great at speaking to new people and getting invited to things, Juniper was better at finding and picking long term friendships and navigating social situations. The two of them were inseparable, and still basically are to this day.
RECENT YEARS:
Upon graduating high school, their parents wanted them to continue off to the highest degrees in universities and choose careers that would ideally make them the most money. But the twins had other plans and passions, having a true love for songwriting and music. So they worked long hours their first year out of high school so they could go move off on their own, together, and begin their journey.
They now travel often and perform in many different places. They continue to compliment each other nicely and help each other.
As they have gotten older, Juniper has distanced herself a little bit more as she found her group of people to be around, while that is something Jordyn still struggles with to find. But she stays optimistic and excited for what her future holds, as she has her sister to support her but also learns how to be more independent.
