Lixiss Abinas

The war between humankind and Avians has waged on for centuries, on and off that is. It is always the humans who initiate conflict, finding some reason to bring sword and shield to Avian borders and slaughter their people needlessly. But this time, the King seems hellbent on wiping them off the face of the earth, ending the war once and for all…through genocide, stealing whatever treasures and riches he finds along the way. Seven years ago, the Queen of the Avians was killed in battle and Lixiss was taken prisoner.

The blade had been meant for her, Lixiss was the one who was supposed to be struck down by human steel, but Irin had thrown herself between them and saved Lixiss’ life by sacrificing her own. After that, Lixiss was taken prisoner by the humans, locked away in the mountains miles away from civilisation. A secret captive that very few humans knew about. To ensure she never escaped her icy prison, her wing was broken in two places, stealing her ability to fly. She has been trapped there ever since, secretly managing to reset the second break on numerous occasions only to have it broken again by each warden sent to guard her. The King forces her to translate documents stolen from Avian strongholds they seige, but Lixiss has been mistranslating them where she can to help her people.

Short by Avian standards, Lixiss stands at a mere five foot and five inches in height. However, she is a rather distinct member of her kind. With creamy blonde hair that falls to the base of her spine in smooth, gentle waves and soft marble gold eyes, she bears the genetic traits of the royal bloodline of Abinas. However, the most distinctive feature of this royal family is their pure white wings with golden tips to each feather. Lixiss’ wingspan is an impressive fourteen feet, and when tucked in at her sides, each wing stands at six foot tall from the top of the arch to the ground, drawfing her frame in comparison.

Unfortunately, due to the treatment she has endured at the hands of numerous wardens, her right wing has been broken in two places. Due to the damage not healing properly in the first break, the wing is arched rather than straight along the humerus bone, and it droops lower than the left, dragging along the ground causing the ends of her wings to become dirty with dust and grime. She has also suffered repeated breaks to the radial bone, but she has managed to secretly reset it on numerous occasions, only to be caught and have it broken again.
