Yejirah

The result of a ritual, Yejirah is no longer a normal, unassuming human. In regular daylight at a reasonable distance, she doesn't appear as anything other than human; dim the lights or look a little too closely and that won't quite be the case.

Yejirah, sometimes 'Vera' or 'Jirah' for those that struggle, is a small and at times abrasive woman, despite the value she places on being mannerly. She's well-read, if only in obscure topics, and knows her way around the study of blood and plants to a strange, almost minute degree. Despite her love of getting messy with tonics, tinctures, teas, plants, and plasma, she has no noteworthy title or lineage, and her origins are generally hard to put together. She's not a talkative sort, brushing over certain topics or questions without so much as a blink. She's stiffly polite, often giving small courtesies and niceties as if to get them out of the way before continuing about her business or day, and when her circumstances are more casual she's not shy about speaking her mind bluntly. It can seem difficult to get Yejirah to like someone (and it tends to be), or even difficult to get on her good side, but once she likes someone she's usually fixed in her opinion and comes across less harsh, if still relentlessly honest.

She's known for wearing white, almost religiously, and almost exclusively wears gold jewelry or beads.[/center]

Nestled in the thickening brush, as if reaching as far away from town as possible, Yejirah owns a small apothecary named My Eilajon the outskirts of any toen she temporsrily inhabits. Usually selling simple tonics, poultices, and other simple remedies. Yejirah services sex workers often in providing them with birth control medicines and remedies for any sex-born illnesses and symptoms, on most occasions. But she also provides simple medicines for fevers, headaches, insomnia, and so on.
