Red carpets, interviews, everybody in Hollywood wants her. She’s a star, she’s who all the men want, and who every woman wants to be. Rich. Pretty. Successful. What a life.. And then she wakes up.
Growing up watching Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. Their posters were all over her room; her role models. Always participating in school theaters, always the protagonist, always the main role. A dream since she was a child. Practicing in front of the mirror, dressing up for different roles.
Hardly paying attention in school, failing most classes. Actresses don’t need brains.
At home it was different. Born into a religious family: Islam. Her mother wearing a hijab, her daughter was born to be different. Strict parents, always expecting her and her older brother to participate and respect the religion. Never eating pork, praying every day; the belief of God almighty. She believed it all as a child. Then she had a dream. It took over everything. She would do anything for it. Her parents never supporting it, calling it unsure and begged her to do something that would make a difference in the world.
That never happened.
Going to audition after audition in her teenage years, hiding it from her parents. She never got any role. She was too shy or would forget her lines - it was always the same excuse. 18. Legally adult. Finally meeting a producer that was interested, seeing her potential. It just wasn’t the kind of job she had dreamt of. ‘’All the big stars have started this way’’ - she was 18, of course she believed him. Taking off her clothes, doing whatever she is asked to do. You will find her on several adult websites. You will never admit you know who she is. Your boyfriend watches her when you are sleeping. She’s a secret.
Only getting hired in big movies as an extra or having a minor role. Her career is a joke. They only want her because of her body and mainwork, it’s never because of talent or potential.
The dream is still alive - and she will do anything to make it come true. She’s sacrificed her family and several friends to come this close. Living with her rockstar brother - he was always the successful one. Jealousy. He is all she has left of her childhood home. Yet she wants what he has. Only being half siblings. Her mother cheating on her father before she was even born. Her brother was the result. She should be happy. She got the real father. Now she hasn’t seen him in years.
Strong willed, a fighter. She can hate you as much as she can love you. Her feelings against others are strong. Emotional. The type that will cry when you cry. While her career is failing, her network is standing strong. An amazing friend, easy to like, easier to love.
