Picture perfect on the surface. Immediately noticeable: a sweet smile, svelte figure, and perfectly groomed silken hairs of a twilight hues which would otherwise quickly become unruly and tangled. A single golden horn which seemed to hold an inner light and faint sparkle topped the chimerical beast of unknown origins. He comes off as mild-mannered and eager to please, perfectly practiced at hitting all the cues of a scripted public performance.
When the curtains draw, however, one would find a mischievous sparkle in the ruby eyes of this quintessential brat. The sly personality hidden behind the mask emerges once out of the spotlight, pushing boundaries and obviously no longer interested in walking the line. He has been known to stir up trouble or shirk his duties just to see if he can get away with it for the thrill and challenge.

Perseus seems to tolerate pain more than most. Due to his healing abilities, he seldom takes mild physical damage seriously, and has, in fact, become a little addicted to the endorphins that come with it. He outright seems to enjoy a bit of pain and has no fear of getting slapped, punched, or even cut.

ꌗꂦꀎꋪꉓꍟ ꂦꎇ ꉣꂦꅏꍟꋪ

It is rumored that the golden horn on his head is the source of his magic. It holds a faint gleam of light and radiates a flickering translucent flame when he is actively using his magical abilities. Legends say that the ground horn of a kirin can have many alchemical uses so he guards it fiercely, but it will grow back if broken off. When growing back out, his powers seem diminished.

𝑀𝒶𝑔𝒾𝒸𝒶𝓁 𝒫𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓇𝓈
|| Healing || Can heal self and others with touch and concentration. Small cuts and wounds can be healed near-instantly on contact. More extensive damage will take time, will drain Perseus' energy greatly, and he will require rest and food to recover. Passively, it accelerates his own healing when he is severely ill or damaged, even if he is unconscious. He is currently allowed to use these powers on himself or others when necessary under the supervision of a medic/healer.
|| Purification || Able to remove harmful substances such as poisons from either within a living being or from another substance. Requires concentration, is not a passive ability.
|| Telepathy || With those he is close to, whose minds he has some exposure to, he can send simple wordless thoughts into their heads.
|| Emotional Resonance || The most dangerous of his abilities, he can share whatever emotion he harbors with others, be it joy, anger, or sadness - the same emotion can begin to cloud and overtake the minds of those he sends his emotional energy towards. Physical contact makes this more potent and more instant.

|| Medicine/Herbalism || Though he is most effective using his magic to heal others, he is also proficient in more mundane first aid. He knows how to create simple poultices and herbal remedies, and he can set a bone.
|| Grooming || The maintenance required for his own fine fur and hair means he is well-practiced in grooming. It's almost meditative for him to carefully work out tangles or brush out a luxurious mane, and he has a few tricks up his sleeve to get one's fur or hair glistening.
|| Companionship || Always willing to act a friend, polite and attentively sitting at another's feet or engaging in lively conversation if he senses that's what one is after.
|| Scribe Services || Though he has been known to twist one's words whilst taking down dictation just to see what chaos it could cause down the line, he has a steady hand and is capable of writing in an elegant script.
