Ian Hearthstone

Ian is muscular, broad shouldered, and stands at 5'11" (180cm). He usually obliges wearing traditional noble clothes when required to for the public or galas, but when he's training or spending time alone, he prefers plain clothing - usually just pants and a t-shirt. He's quite modest with his clothing, and lacks an eye for any type of style of fashion, which is the biggest reason he doesn't put too much effort into his day to day wear, and instead lets the courtiers and servants do it for him. He is however, almost always wearing leather coverings for his forearms.

He has choppy medium length hair that's often left unstyled or untouched even when he is required to be dressed nicer. Ian has blue hooded eyes, and uses it to his advantage when talking to those he's trying to charm people either for love or information.

Ian and Alistair have identical scars. Three across the forearm, one on the left side of the chin, and sporadic ones on their back, but those ones are not identical shape and size.

Physical differences between the Twins:

This differences are imperceptible to strangers that do not have a keen eye. Even the staff still have a hard time telling the twins apart despite the fine differences. YC may be around them longer and slowly recognize these differences, but they are highly unlikely to notice quickly, unless they have a perceptive personality trait.

Ian's scars on his forearm go the opposite direction diagonally than Alistair's.
Ian's eyes are slightly wider, and the color slightly darker.
Ian is Right handed
As a result of being right handed, when he pushes his hair back, it tends to veer off to the right.
Ian's nose is barely straighter
Ian has one since more scar than Alistair, on his stomach.
Ian has more scars on his back than Alistair.

Ian is the quieter of the two, and on the outside tries to come across as twisted as his brother and father, but deep down its ploy to keep in his father's good favor until he can take the throne and banish both of them. He tries to show kindness in the shadows, and few times has it came back to bite him in the ass, but just enough for Ian to make sure he quite trusts who he is helping before aiding them again.

Ian his often plagued with nightmares of the things he's witnessed or had to do just to keep his title, and as a result takes out his frustrations with self harm, or alcohol.

He prefers more tame hobbies like reading, and stealthy weapons like daggers and short bows. Because of this he moves much more freely than Alistair, and tends to be quicker.

Ian is often more alert and aware of his surroundings.
