Robyn

Though Robyn was born female, she later discovered the extraordinary ability to shift between male and female forms. It all began unexpectedly one morning, when, after sliding out of bed, Robyn glanced into the mirror only to find the face of a boy staring back at her. At just eight years old, she was terrified by this sudden transformation. But her father sat down with her and explained that shapeshifting ran in their family. He reassured her that, as she grew older, she would unlock even more abilities.

It took years for Robyn to fully understand and control her shapeshifting powers. Throughout her teenage years, she often woke up as either a female or a male, struggling to make sense of it all. Mastering that skill alone took several years. Over time, she learned to shift into any form she desired, gaining greater control over her abilities.

Eventually, Robyn moved out of her parents’ home to live independently. During her travels, she discovered a new form—a shadowy, genderless state—that brought her a sense of peace. This form made traveling easier, but it also posed new challenges. Humans who caught sight of her in this void-like state often referred to her as a demon or a witch. So Robyn made sure to travel as either a male or a female in any form they liked and only used the shadow state for personal reasons.
