    Ashley came from a well-off family that fulfilled all her physical and material needs or wants but neglected her emotional ones, and she was often subject to emotional abuse from her mother. She was academically talented, but she never really showed much interest in schoolwork, becoming a frequent class-skipper in high school as well as dabbling in drugs. She was raised alongside the daughter of another family, and they were close friends until Ashley's rebellious ways clashed with her friend's, and the two became distanced in high school.

    She's still currently a student, but she does the bare minimum to graduate.
