A kingdom at war that failed to gain their footing and independence, dissolved by the victors, Kotya should have been a prisoner of the winning side but worked their way out, eventually lost through the shuffling of paperwork until they could slip away, become a drifter as the last few years of adolescence were wasted away by nightmares drowning in drink - too young, too early, yet the truth.
Seeking work while trying to manage a very unhealthy addiction, at least a decade of their life is lost to the bottle, memories too fuzzy to know the stain on their soul they picked up during that time.

ChemistRaised by apothecaries, meant to take over the business, Kotya can brew up a great deal of tonics, curatives, and other mundane potions, including breaking down the recipe of those they're introduced to to recreate for themselves.
They rarely offer this service without a great deal of prompting, and are more likely to simply buy the regents without telling anyone what they're brewing.CombatSpending the majority of their life as a soldier and then drifting mercenary for adventuring jobs, bounties are commonly taken, and they do not mind showing another the basics for survival, nor will they say one cannot fight - they just need reason and resolve.
Often underestimated due to their stature, strength seemingly hidden in a lanky build, Kotya is much more durable than one would expect.
CorruptionSlowly being devoured by a demonic energy, Kotya is capable of some simple illusion and mind manipulation, which they believe to be just intimidation or people wishing to be rid of them as quickly as possible, as well as shapeshifting into a raven and snake, during which they blackout and have no recollection of what they experienced while in that form. They might have the memories as dreams, and those who can influence minds stronger than their corruption can will be able to draw them forward, see them for themselves. Everything Kotya experiences is only hidden to themself.
