Amelia was your typical little girl. She had a bouncy bubbly personality. There was no fear of the world and nothing stopped her from walking up to strangers and striking up a conversation. She was full of life and loved to explore. Both her parents loved her as they had always made time to spend with her. She didn't know the struggle of money, dangers, or anything bad in the world. That wasn't until she was around five or six years old and her world came to crashing halt. Her parents were killed in a car accident. Amelia was the only survivor by some miracle. A head on collision from a drunk driver took the two more important people in her life away.

The next few years was a whirl wind of unstableness and uncertainty. Amelia was placed into different homes that host a variety of foster kids. No one adopted permanently and no one kept her more than a year. She wasn't a bad kid. The families she went to tended to take on too many children. All she was a paycheck for them.

Amelia was still one of the brightest students despite her rocky home life. She excel in her classes and took up responsibility quickly. At the age of sixteen she was tired of being bounced around. With the help of a social worker and one of her favorite teachers, she left the foster care system. She remained in school and got a job waitressing that made pretty decent in tips. It helped the small town she was currently in wasn't overly expensive. They worked out a deal with one of the landlords to rent her an efficiency apartment at a low cost. Her teacher signed the lease for her since she was still under age.

Life wasn't all roses though. Amelia had to grow up fast and take care of herself if she didn't want to end up on the streets. She was often exhausted going to school all day and working multiple late nights in a row. She really didn't have much time for clubs or activities. Her focus was school work and work to get herself through high school.

College came around and she went to a small university on a scholar ship. Amelia did not choose a fancy school nor did she choose a fun degree. There was plenty she wish she could do but she stuck with business and human resources believing she could get a decent paying job. She saved and didn't live a lavish life style. Amelia bought only what was needed and saved her money.

After graduation Amelia was offered a job as a secretary at Solljus Corp in their Human Resource department. The job was decent paying and she was able to get a small efficiency apartment in the city. Amelia was a hard worker and did well in her department.
