Growing up in a poor neighbourhood, Masanido turned to street racing, gangs, and violence to make fast money though his gang. The Black Knights is less like a gang, and more like a small, tight-knit group of misfits.

He works part-time as a chef in a small, family-run restaurant, but his real dream is to start up his own business as a chef. And, of course, make enough to support his dog, Ryu.
