Calla Altairus: The sixth and youngest child of Sabine Altairus, a prominent omega socialite who was heavily sought after in her youth for her breeding and known success of spawning healthy, male, alpha children. Age and a handful of scandals left Sabine and her youngest child at the fringes of society, scrounging for scraps of attention while she clawed for anyway to remain relevant and wanted. Luckily for Sabine, and not so much Calla, the first daughter born from the Altairus line in years presented as an omega as well! No better way to remain in the spotlight than by rearing and training your own replacement......
The neck-break speed in which Calla's childhood ended and adulthood was thrust upon her left the young woman in a constant state of paranoia and aggravation. Her mother changed rapidly....as did the attention from those watching them. No longer was she a sweet, beautiful baby girl that could do no wrong....but a means to an end and womb to be bred. A symbol of purity and demur manners. A thing to be seen and not heard. No sooner than the day she turned eighteen did Calla realize her life was not her own to live anymore.
Now reaching her mid-twenties Calla has begun to grow used to the idea of her arranged, loveless, engagement to Alexander Boumont and to the expectations forced upon her simply because of her gender. She by no means lacks the fire and drive to test the limits of the leash around her neck however, much to her mother's dismay. Alexander may be her intended mate for as long as HE sees fit, but she belongs to no one. Especially not some man. If he, or anyone else, wants her....they'll need to prove it with more than just some contract signed in ink and empty promises.
