  The French Revolution had taken place, of course, in france. However, it had spread throughout the british area, causing different arays of uneasy feelings amunst the citizens that lurked behind the walls. Some citizens had come to fear their own lives as well as their territories which led to nothing more than led to a form of patriotism that wanted nothing so much as the Status Quo with everybody knowing his or her place in the world.
  
  Dante had gone into this war when he was 25 years old, not knowing that he wasn't ever going to return home to his wife and daughter, whom was only 6 years old. Little did he know that his wife was with their second child, a son, and the real enemy was lurking on the offending side.

  Personality

  His nature depends on the people that he's around. When he's alone or on his own, he's quite the calm man, clean as well. He had to have everything in its place/clean. When he's around others, he puts on the bad-boy attitude unless the person actually knows him very well. He's also very perverted, sarcastic and charming. Not to mention deadly.
  
  Dante also has a Commitment Issue. Sexual/Non-Sexual it doesn't matter, it's due to the fact after seeing/watching his wife and child burn alive after he was turned that his trust went down hill, and the over whelming feeling of having let them down. Ever since then, he has problems opening up and letting others in due to the fact that he might let them down in some shape or form. Not to mention, he won't feed off of humans, especially the innocents.
  
  Usually Dante keeps to himself no matter how close the person is, however, he does have problems keeping to himself when it comes to his wife and son, and how he rather misses them quite dearly. Dante hides his past, due to the fact that he fears that it will come back and haunt him, or perhaps haunt the others around him that he cares about. He also fears that they'll get hurt/killed due to his stupidity in the past.

  Dante has an insatiable craving for nicotine and cannot survive a full day, let alone a full hour without a cigarette. They're used as a remedy to his stupidity, or so he claims in some situations for some... well, lets say, not so smart or safe areas that he had landed himself.
  It is notorious for him to have a pack of Cigarettes tucked away somewhere that he can reach for them, as well as his lighter rather quickly in the desperation for 'Poison'. That and his cellular phone, which is never too far from his side.
