• Personality

  Malik has known little in his life other that to serve, his earliest memories had him in the binds, his life owned by another but he was not meant for mundane labor of most male slaves. An odd realization by his masters made him perfect for ring combat. Though he never made it to a gladiatorial arena, he shined in the dirty blood stained pits of the underbelly. Fighting in the most gruesome of conditions, always fighting to survive and with some inherited talent the boy survived his first fights, though the trauma of having to take the life of another purely for sport is something that will always weigh heavy on his mind. Though in this blood and cruelty, even when his masters began having him trained by various masters from across the lands he maintained an almost innocent like demeanor. The Traumatic environment splitting his psyche in two. The boy who killed and the one outside of the pit... Where most choose food or women for rewards, Malik only ever requested the ability to read and read he did. Though what he chose to read would soon not only help mend that broken psyche to some extent but instill in him a dream that no amount of gore, pain or death could rip from him. He read of heroes the old tales of extraordinary people going against insurmountable odds, not for gold or glory because it was the right thing to do. This became something sacred to the half breed even though he knew he could never be counted among them... He was a monster an abomination and he was a killer and though he hated to admit it, there was that darkness in him that enjoyed it. When that switch happened and that cracked mental state that he took when locked in the battle to the death... It smiled, its eyes were crazy... But even with such short comings. He struggles day in and day out to live his life like them... Maybe just maybe even if it was just one person. He'd be someone's hero.

  Malik has been molded with a physical form that seemed near perfect. He was crafted from a young age for pit fighting and he excelled at it greatly. He was fast as an elf and his strength was at a human's peak. He could take a punch and keep on kickin! Though all of this had its down sides.

  Malik seems to have this supernatural ability to get his ass kicked and keep going. His fortitude is quite awe inspiring and actually comes from the fact that he was cursed. Malik was meant to be the shell for an avatar of a Drowvan goddess but as he was sold off before the drow could find him this prophecy was not fulfilled but the ramifications were still there. His body was capable of taking a great deal of damage and hold together. He doesn't heal any quicker, he can still be killed, just don't expect him to back down or be easily beaten.
  
  Though it has its downsides... He was meant to be a vessel making him a prime target for possession! Secondly though he knows of its existence and understands that some people are capable of producing it. Malik could never have the aptitude to learn magic. Not that he's stupid just a skill that is unknown to him and so magic effects him more than it would effect someone who knew a bit about magic. He can still be healed by magical means and other things of this nature, but his defense against offensive magics except with those dealing with making him do something he normally wouldn't is quite low.
