Clelia Aeolos

The Story

• Clelia is not much different from other highborn girls of her time. She was born into a household filled with slaves and since she was raised with the concept, she does not see anything wrong with slavery.
  
  Her strict father had a seat in the senate, her loving-yet-also-strict mother ran the house. She has grown up the apple of their eye, along with her brothers. She's not a completely proper young woman, she has a bit of a spitfire attitude. It doesn't help that, for the most part, she's intelligent enough to know when people are fools. Unfortunately, her husband was a fool... and a soldier. He ended up dead soon after they were married.
  
  Now she runs her own household, based off her education growing up with her mother.
  
  Young women did not attend school, however, she did have the same tutor as her brothers. He was employed by her father and she learned to read and write in Latin as well as Greek. Mathematics, and philosophy were also taught. Everything else she needed to know was taught by her mother. From spinning, weaving, and sewing, to music, running a kitchen, and entertaining. Her mother was determined that she be somewhat of a proper young lady.
  
  All that goes out the window however when her father allows her to attend the gladiator matches.
