• She was a Shadow of Life, the Alpha of her pack. Yet she refused to remain with them for long periods of time. It hurt her to be with her family and yet be without a mate. The skirt itself more resembled two floor length pieces of fabric attached to her shorts than an actual skirt. the sides were split all the way up to her hips to allow for easy movement should she get into a fight. Her fur bore the markings of her status and pack, The Dark Shadow. But scars marred the perfection of the markings, criss crossing her arms, neck, back, stomach and legs. Each one was a reminder of the wars she had been in and the family she had lost along the way.
  
  Fear her, as you should. For she is more dangerous than anything you've ever encountered before. Though gentle by nature, she will no hesitate to defend herself or what is hers. Approach her if you dare. You might not like what you find. It takes courage and a healthy dose of curiosity to approach a Shadow of Life and a drive to seek knowledge to ask them of the History of the Pack. But beware, seekers. For if you discover enough of their past, you just find yourself claimed by them. Think long before you speak, and weigh your options carefully. For once you start down this path, there is no turning back.
