• Genetic Enhancements

  Eyes: The cornea lacks irises which function to absorb light from the environment. Without this beneficial anatomical support, seeing without natural light is virtually impossible, though well made up for by excellent hearing and sense of smell. Daytime function is normal.
  
  Teeth: Double sets of canine teeth on the upper jaw. Species has been known to have double rows of all teeth or double rows on one jaw or the other. Many variations have been documented.
  
  Spine: Vertebra are intercalated, meaning they overlap much like armor, their spinous processes extending well beyond the natural growth plate which gives the illusion of spikes jutting from her back. The atlas and axis are the only two vertebrae that lack this long spinous process, as this would cause paralyzation and inability for functional skull rotation.
  
  Jaws: Due to an increased natural jaw pressure and biting capacity, the breed are able to 'unhinge' their jaws much similar to a snake. Although, due to lacking proper musculature for contraction, the jaw may become stuck at times or cause sharp pains that linger long after the food has been devoured.
  
  Docked Tail: An evolutionary process that had eventually led to the natural birth of cropped tails. Thusly, when these beasts fight, they began realizing that the tail was a prime target and could be easilly ripped off with the extra teeth and jaw pressure. Females will rarely select a mate who still has a full tail or even a half tail. (Natural Selection)
