Religion ♦ Atheist. Morals ♦ Self-centered, unless it benefits enterprise. Melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. Often they are perfectionists. They are self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is that they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others. Enneagram ♦ The Reformer; The Achiever, the Investigator. The Self ♦ Imperator. The Shadow ♦ A thunderstorm of rage, intent upon punishing the world for perceived wrongdoings committed against Lise. ♦Family♦
Warwick Hunter-Guillory ♦ The Heir. A young boy legitimately born to Campy and Lise, appearing as a perfect blend of his fathers. His upbringing and education has already been twisted by the cruelties of his parents, necessitated by the shoes he may come to fill, if he survives long enough. Still, any enemies of the Hunter-Guillory estate will inevitably find that there is no deed too heinous for either father to commit in the name of protecting their son. Clerkenwell, Bentley, and Lisette ♦ The bastards. Horrid little illegitimates that were fathered by Campy. Lise despises and loathes the halfbreeds, and only puts himself in the parenting role only to unleash rather lethal lessons; for their own benefit, of course. Regardless of their accelerated growth due to being born in the fairy migration, Lise still regards his children as nothing more than parasitic vermin. All three have been confirmed as deceased. Bastien Guillory ♦ Father and the only son of Henri; a swashbuckling rogue who forsook the life of a businessman and became a privateer - a corsaire for the French crown. His absences would last for years while his father continued the merchanting business, preying upon pirates who dared turned their sails towards his father's ships. Out of the blue, he suddenly sailed back into port, bearing a swaddled bundle containing an infant. After ensuring the child's legitimacy and pleading to his father to take the little Lise into his care, he set sail not long after. For the majority of his childhood, he saw little of the distant man, until an injury oversees brought him back home, weak and lame. His child had already become a teenager, emotionally unconcerned about the man who claimed to be his father. In efforts to rebuild the bridges, he has since devoted himself to trying to be as doting, caring, and concerned as possible. Amélie Guillory ; née Boucher ♦ Lowborn despite her rare pedigree, she was a barmaiden in a tavern from New Orleans in French Louisiana. Incessant wooing and clumsy courtship by Bastien subsequently led to love, marriage, a newborn on the way, and the promise of a life-long adventure on the sea. Alas, during the eve of a hurricane, Amélie passed away in fear and agony as the bloody labor took its toll, leaving behind her broken-hearted widower and motherless child. Henri Guillory ♦ Grandfather of Lise; a shrewd businessman whose retirement age was, until recently, spent continuing the family trading company after his son set off as a privateer, disappointed in his choice but quietly pleased with Bastien's assistance in protecting his trade. Despite his oncoming age, he remains in good health and mind, overseeing his legacy with a stern eye and tactical heart. He took the infant Lise under his wing, overseeing his upbringing and education while simultaneously and preparing him as his true heir. While Lise reigns as master over a significant portion of the company now, her aging grandfather remains insistent that his advice and commands retain a prominent semblance of power in Lise's career. After a long reign in corporate imperialism, Henri Guillory passed away in his sleep, leaving a potential power vacuum to be filled by Lise. | _____________ |
