FUN FACTS- IDENTIFIES AS GENDERLESS! Beware of calling them an 'it' or male.A post in the arena in which Gahl accidentally flashes their bits:
(22:04:37) Nûzh di-Gahl's claws clashed with steel, eliciting a shrill shriek of enamel-on-metal and a small shower of sparks. They huffed, yanking their hands back and settling on their other paw just as the blade was swung low. It wasn't enough time for Gahl to dodge this time, and the sword sunk into the meat of their calf. Black, ichor-like blood sluiced onto Arvex's weapon, and Gahl snarled as they lost their balance and plummeted ass-first to the arena floor. Their loincloth flew up, showing off the fact that they did not, in fact, have a dick - or a visible one, at least. Wounded, frustrated, though showing no shame, they flipped the garment back over their lack-of-junk and arched forward to try to shove their ram-horned skull into the hellhound's stomach.

- Most commonly seen in quadrupedal form, but can also be seen in bipedal form and orc form.
- Size is that of a black bear in quadrupedal form.
- Smells nasty much of the time, but don't call them "Nuzh!" See below, in 'Nicknames.'
- Was called with a sound like the "tch" sound people often make when disappointed.
- Subject to magical control, but resistant to attack magic and poisons (magical and mundane).
- Their tongue, gums, blood, and saliva are entirely BLACK.
- Blood may cause any that ingest it to become violently ill unless they have a very high fortitude.
- Timeline - Birth to Present
- Born November 15th.
- Arrived in the Golden Tether on January 13th, 2012, snarling and snapping.
- June 30th, 2013, Gahl is purchased by a demon in the guise of a young woman, named Zahlen. She uses puppetry and voodoo dolls. Unfortunately, she vanished soon after.
- Arrived on Alfheim via a mysterious doorway that plopped them on Hearic's shoreline in 2021.
- Became a Warden of Alfheimr in late June of 2022 just before the trip to Helheim to save Ljos (and Deg?).
- Participated in Ragnarok and the building of Vidblainn on the newly created realm of Idavollr in early April, 2023.

BASIC INFORMATION
ORIGIN: A subterranean realm called Izh-katu on the planet Tok-mub/Heimr.
DESCRIPTION: "A massive, primitive beast, bred by orcs purely for pit-fighting. The creature appears sentient enough to follow direction, and even speak. Hunch-backed, muscle-bound form ripples with gore-scented fur the color of mud and stone. Their eyes are veritable slits of sickly yellow-green. They appear to be some horrid cross of wolf and saber-tooth tiger, but with massive, ram-like, iridescent obsidian horns. A thick chain drapes around their neck with a padlock inscribed with their name in Orkish: "The Stench of Fear." They are here to fight, not to be a pet. Take care you not mistake them for the latter..."
FULL NAME ON COLLAR: Nûzh di-Gahl
MEANING: "[The] Scent/Stench/Smell of Fear" in Orcish/Black Tongue
PRONUNCIATION: Nooj DEH-gahll
NICKNAME(S): Gahl ("Fear") - Calling them "Nuzh" is essentially calling them "Stinky, " and seems to offend them. "Fimbulorc" - the goddess Skathi/Skadi, after she gave Gahl ice magic.
RACE/SPECIES: Wargkesh (They are demonic wolf-like creatures bred by orcs, related to wargs and, by extension, wolves.)
CHRONOLOGICAL AGE: 42 (until November 15th, 2022.; Young-adult for wargkesh)
PHYSICAL AGE: Appears as a young-adult/in their prime
SEX: Intersex - no discernible sex. Sex and gender are considered separate in wargkesh society. The three sexes are male, female, and intersex. However, trans/non-binary genders are recognized as normal.GenitalsThey have defined pectoral muscles and what appears to be a vulva and, when aroused, a relatively small phallus emerges from what would be the clitoral hood in cisgender females.
GENDER IDENTITY: Identifies as agender - genderless. In their language this is called Narbungo - "No Bulge"
SUB-SPECIES/BREED: Battle Warg (See "Wargkesh" page for more information on the three wargkesh breeds)
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
BODY TYPE: Stocky limbs with a short, sturdy torso. Dense bones overlaid with thick, rippling muscle, most of which is in their massive hunched nape, chest, and forelimbs/arms. Usually takes to their natural quadrupedal form best.
HEIGHT: (top of hunch) 4'6" (size of a pony or small bear) in quadrupedal form. 6'10" in biped form, 6'6" in orcish form.
WEIGHT: Around 235-250 Lbs in quadruped and orcish form. Around 300 lbs in bipedal form.
FUR: Dense, curly, double-layered, and usually tangled, the bottom layer is plush and downy and the outer is wirey, oily, and water/fire resistant. Only has fur about their shoulders (much like a small mane), and on top of hands and feet in orcish form.
SKIN: Dark olive-tan. Inside of genitals/nipples/paw-pads are neon lime green.
SCARS: Many cross-hatch over one-another, but most noticeable are listed:
- Chest: Two parallel, horizontal sword slashes, the top one deeper/thicker (Top, Ullr. Bottom, Arvex Galerian)
- Back: Small chunk missing from hunch (Niji), diagonal slice across hunch (Ullr), large, slitted pierce just to the left of the small of their spine (Arvex)
- Ribs: Nick to the top of their ribs on the right (Ullr), large slice between two ribs on left that caused a punctured lung (Arvex)
- Abdomen: Large, slitted pierce to the left and below the navel (exit wound of sword pierce to their back from Arvex)
MARKINGS: None in orcish form, but in bipedal and quadrupedal form, they have slate-gray fur with olive-brown paws up to their ankles and hocks. The black markings on their face are reminiscent of a dragon skull, with “teeth-like” stripes on their muzzle, unmarked brows much like eye-sockets, and curled, horn-like cheek markings. The black on the back forms bat-wing markings on their outer arms, ending at the elbow, and a crescent-shape on their outer thighs. The black also extends all the way to the middle of their tufted tail, but not to the end.
EYES: Deeply-set, lime green sclera with yellow irises and cat-like, black, slitted pupils
HORNS/SPIKES: Iridescent, black ram-like horns that curl backward behind their ears. They are solid bone with enamel surfaces (much like their teeth). Three spikes made of the same material protrude from their brows.
HAIR: Spikey, lime-tipped bangs sprout from between their horns. In orcish form, they fall over their forehead in front of one of their eyes, and continue in a spikey, coarse, mohawk-style mane while the rest of their hair remains close-cropped.
PAWS/CLAWS/HANDS: Tiger-like, with large, flexible toes and retractable claws covered in the same shiny obsidian enamel as their horns and spikes. Their central paw pad is shaped like a house-cat’s, as one fleshy sphere squished between two smaller ones. Each toe/finger-tip has another pad. In orcish form, they have claws, but cannot retract them, and no paw pads.
TEETH: Long, saber-like canines protrude several inches from their maw/lip.
TAIL: Short and tufted, like a bob-tailed Vallhund.
CUSTOM ARMOR: Each golden, chainmail piece was enchanted separately. That way if the enchantments were damaged the other parts of the armor would still function. Each piece was strengthened even beyond normal alfr steel, each piece could change shape with its host, each piece could repair itself if given a day or two and as long as it wasn't missing too much of its original material. The armor would even constrict around wounds to staunch badly bleeding wounds. Crafted by Aiden ta Aesin.
APPEALING ATTRIBUTES: Very little, save for the intimidating aspect, perhaps agreeable to potential owners that want a gladiator or guardian. Some may also find them exotic, and their musculature in bipedal and orcish form to be… attractive… but that is obviously open to speculation.
DRAWBACKS: Large and cumbersome, unable to comfortably fit in many average-size cages. Very slow, not agile in the least. Rarely bathes, and thus, smells of rancid meat and unbathed dog.
NATURAL DEFENSES: Teeth, claws, and revolting, acidic, ichor-like blood that causes all save for those with the strongest stomachs to retch violently if ingested.
CLOTHING: None in quadrupedal form. A simple brown loincloth was usually worn, but in colder weather they wore green[/img] or black furs and leather.
OTHER ITEMS:
- A steel chain collar with a padlock inscribed with their name in Orcish is worn around their neck occasionally.
- A knife bandolier is worn for hunting.
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
PERSONALITY: Bestial and instinct-driven, the warg is prone to fits of rage and blood-lust. They are, however, obedient to masters, patrons, and peers they respect. They are rather low on the intelligence scale, so attempts to teach them anything intellectual (other languages, literacy, etc.) can prove frustratingly futile. In truth, that can learn, it just takes a while. Anything physical, like new combat moves, or hunting techniques, are learned swiftly.
OVERALL BEHAVIOR:Like a wild barbarian/beast, if an obedient wild beast… usually.
SEXUALITY: D6 Graysexual (does not feel sexual attraction unless there is a strong emotional bond), if given a choice, Gahl prefers males and masculine individuals. They favor orcs, canine, feline, and demonic creatures because of their cultural beliefs that those species provide the best genes for children.However, being intersex and a slave, they will begrudgingly allow themselves to be bred with females.No longer a slave, and thus no longer forced to bed women or femmes.
ROMANTIC STATUS: Attached but open for more.
LIKES: Orcs, demons, fighting, hunting, blood, feeding time, fire, the words "Hunt", "Fight", "Blood", "Battle", "Food/Feed", "Death/Dead", "Fire", "Eat" and of course "Attack" (in any of their known language),
DISLIKES: Elves, angels, fae, being told what to do by those they don't respect, being mistaken for a male or female, being called an 'it' or ‘Nuzh.’
FEARS: Failure, small, enclosed spaces, water deeper than they’re able to stand in (not a strong swimmer), fae/elven magic, becoming a Baak - a “Shame,” the wargkesh equivalent of an exile and social pariah, losing one of their limbs or senses of smell, disappointing masters they respect.
GOALS:Becoming a respected arena champion, winning their freedom. Join up with the army of Idavollr, defend the realm from all who threaten it.
AFFLICTIONS: Atychiphobia (fear of failure), Claustrophobia (fear of small, enclosed spaces), Bathophobia (fear of depths and/or deep water), Arsonfilia (Unhealthy love of fire), extreme hatred for elven-kind, prone to outbursts of anger, inability to control blood-lust.
MAINTENANCE: Low; simply give the beast several pounds of meat a day, or allow them to hunt for their own meals. Fur's matted texture does not require much grooming.
DIET/ALLERGIES: Meat, raw. Allergic to anything tainted with fae or elven magic. Will become sick and vomit. Mithril (elven steel) burns their skin.
ABILITIES
LANGUAGES SPOKEN: Orcish/Black Tongue, passable ability to speak Common/Trade/English
SHIFTING: Able to shift at will (when not in their control collar) between bipedal and quadrupedal form. Able to shift with considerable concentration to orcish form.
MAGIC: Pyromancy/pyrourgy (Able to control fire/able to create fire). Cryomancy/cryourgy (able to control ice/able to create ice). Resistant to heat/cold and fire/freezing damage
