So, now what is there in life to speak of. I have come so for but to what ends have I met? Where am I going to go from here, which way will life's winds decide to blow me. I suppose though, before dwelling on my future I should first recant my past.

Who can really speak of their childhood with any sort of authority? I cannot and therefore I rely heavily on much of what other's have told me. I suppose when speaking of one's birth the first question is where did they come from. Me? I come from a province far to the south of this island (Of course, referring to the Island which the Tether resides on). Born nearly 24 ((33 currently)) summers ago, it's even shameful, and at times even painful to remember. Though for the sake of laying my legacy to paper, I shall try.

My father aspired to be a world renowned scientist, in the specific study of crossbreeding. I was supposed to be his chance to rise to fame and glory. I was an utter failure to him in that sense. What am I speaking and rambling on about you ask? Of course, silly of me to leave vague my true origins. My mother was pure white tiger, anthro of course, my father was the same. So what is this cross-breeding I speak of? Why, simply it was my crazy father infecting my mother with blood of a creature not of this world. Impossible? Perhaps for some, but we lived in an advanced culture in comparison to this one. What did this mean for me? Nothing at first, I was born a normal feline anthro, no special features.

My father was far from the caring kind, me, being the failure I was, was soon forgotten like many of his other experiments. I survived though and I wish nobody to feel pity on me, as I do not feel pity on myself. Life was boring, well boring until I turned thirteen summers. Thirteen was a magic number for me it seemed. Not only was it the year I grew into womanhood it was when my dragons-blood decided to mature as well. What was this transformation? Only the great leathery wings one can see on occasion when I fight. These morphed into feathery wings due to another freak of magic that occurred much later...but that's another story! Back to this one.... You really wouldn't believe how quickly my father recognized my existence than!

Ah, but I had no notion of staying around and being his way to glory and fame. So I did the only thing I could do at the time. I ran away. It wasn't long until I was picked up by a passing merchant in the nearby village, taken as a slave. No, I jest, I was taken in though, as a servant more than a slave, to keep his daughter happy while he was away on his many caravan voyages and business endeavors. As time passes on I was taken than to be his daughter's bodyguard. I was trained in the form of swords play (Rapier) and horseback riding and shooting. So now I glaze over the boring parts of my life, where I was tutored along side Antonela (the merchant's daughter) to the day I turned Eighteen.


Antonela had been married off over that summer and unfortunately I could not travel into the part of her life with her. The merchant also had no further use for me. So, given a small penance of gold and my trusty rapier, I was promptly thrown out on my metaphorical ass. So what was a winged feline such as myself to do? Well of course, I searched out for work. Guarding Caravans, standing alter guard, whatever I could try. It never lasted long though, I wasn't what they were looking for. Apparently I was considered demonic in nature, because of my wings. I was, an outcast to my society.

There seemed to be only one place left for me to go: The Gladiator Arena. They accepted anyone foolish enough, or in my case, desperate enough, to put their life on the line for the sick and twisted amusement of others.
Ah and now it seems we come to another sad part of my life. And I suppose this little fact would be the only thing that made me regret becoming a gladiator. For you see, this fateful accident has prevented me from having kits of my own. But than, perhaps this is a good thing? Ah, but I shall digress and get on with the story of my life.

So, there I was, sweat on my brow, wind brushing through the slightly damp strands of my cerulean hair. I was breathing hard, the sound echoing through my own ears as the crowd had fallen deathly silent. My opponent stood near, leaning over his broadsword, catching his breath as well. However, as the rule goes, warriors' should always remain on guard, and of course, I was prepared for his attack. He had lunged forward, his sword making a violent hissing sound as it arced upward through the air. My sword arm was brought up swiftly though, in an easy and deftly executed blocking maneuver.

My sword however, didn't like the extra stress and it was a well worn blade anyway. Fate would have it, the sword buckled under the pressure and contact with the much heavier broadsword. I had no time to move, or hell even think, naturally, attention being drawn to my now broken blade. In my state of shock I didn't move out of the way of his blade and hardly noticed until it was to late, until I felt the pain travel up my spine, causing the edges of my eyes to dim.

Naturally I stumbled backward, one paw reaching for my stomach, the other still holding desperately to the hilt of the now broken and useless blade. My blood covered hand had risen from where it gripped at my stomach. I remember my eyes widening to the sight of the blood. A sick, dark crimson filled my vision, than nothing but black.
I couldn't begin to guess how long I was out for, or hell how I managed to survive that wound for that matter. I do remember waking up some unknown amount of time later though, in the safety of a unknown farmhouse.

I worked for the kind farmer's who nursed me back to health, by guarding their livestock and killing the feral animals that threatened their lives. I knew though that I couldn't stay there forever so once I was able, I bid them a very fond farewell and continued on my way.


It wasn't long after that I stumbled upon The Slave Chamber. For some unknown reason I was attracted to this dark and dismal place of slave trading. I ]t wasn't long before I made myself at home in what became slanged by the common goers as the Chambers, or simply TSC. I snuck my way into the bar many times and with what little coins I had left, would gorge myself on the finest assortment of rum. It was on one of these evenings that I met my best mate in all the world, Durac Legrunt. what can I say about him, he's one Scottish wolf who likes his liquor and of course, like any other good bar goer, he loved to fight.

Yes, Durac was a man after my own heart, but sadly, nothing more will ever come of our steadfast friendship (Yes you know, he is going to prove me wrong one day). Moving on, I soon applied for a position and was appointed as guard not long after. So we hit yet another long blur in my life. As the only notable thing that happened in the year I was guard there was the numerous amount of people I met.

So I shall go through a large list of people important to me throughout this part and up to my life now. Why? Because without some of these people I doubt I would be sitting here writing this.



Hmm I am sure there are so many more people but afraid they have slipped my mind. Well all save one, Lina Core, now known as Linni. She was (Or maybe still is, at times I am not sure) my mate, a lovely female feline. She was such a pure hearted lass, sometimes I do wonder how I was ever blessed to be with her. Ah I suppose in some ways she still is my mate, though more so she is just very dear to me. But this is supposed to be my life story and not the dwellings of my mis-happed love life is it not?

So moving onward we near to where I am today ((This would've been a decade or more ago)). I became a manager at TSC and remained such for a few months. It was a very trying and tiring position, one that took up quite a lot of my time. I was told by many that I had changed a lot because of my job. It was only after many other's had abandoned the place we all called home for a new haunt, that I even considered the ideal of leaving.

It was still another month or so later, when The Chambers had been thrown into chaos and my life taken with it, that I had finally decided to call it quits. Call me weak if you will, but I had my reasons. not long after, I had found myself at The Golden Tether, or just the Tether for short. I turned in an application for employment and though I am but a lowly guard at this place, I am happy with it. So, this is where I am now, employed at the Tether for near over a month, and living fairly happily. My life still has its ups and downs, but than that is to be expected no? So where life's winds wish to take me now, I know not. What I do know is I shall follow my life's path no matter where it decides to take me.
