• Description

  Darrell is a man who's lived outside his whole life. He's muscular but on the thinner side as finding food isn't always easy and his unique make up burns it off faster than it should. His hair is long, orange-red and unkempt, laying in waves over his shoulders nearly to his hips. His skin is paler olive and covered in various scars and marks over almost all of him. Darrell has recently kept a beard; it's short cropped and covering a scar on his cheek. His eyes are light blue and alert and more often than not narrowed at someone. He prefers to wear furs that he's made himself, but his normal outfit as of late is a tan sleeveless shirt and dark brown breeches held up with a belt and leather boots.
  
  His weapon of choice is a crossbow carved of wood with metal parts. He did not make it, but he stole it proudly and named the thing Baby. He's never seen without his crossbow or the antler-handled hunting knife that was a gift from his husband, Hrafn.

• Biography

  Hailing from the Uruu mountain region at the northern tip of Antallos in Ianua, Darrell grew up mostly by himself. His father was a hard man who took it upon himself to beat lessons into his boys, especially after their mother was killed in a fire. Darrell and his older brother Merrick fended for themselves, mostly. When Merrick left the village for the world, becoming a raider, Darrell was too young to follow.
  
  He raised himself in the woods after that, his father too drunk to care for his only remaining family member. Harran was not the best of fathers either and the state of Darrell's body is testament to that. The village of free peoples he lived with could only house him for so long, though. He started fights, took what wasn't his and eventually left for the south. He wandered in search of something he couldn't name and for years lived alone in the snowy forests of the Northern lands until he met a snobby singer and felt into a life he never expected to live.
  
  Darrell now lives in Paradium, the home land of his husband and doesn't regret leaving the world that abused him.
