• Description

  You get what you see, but sometimes that ends up far more than you expect it to be. That's how it is with Khelagar, a moro jackal from the marshes of the far south. What most will see is a male standing a good foot over six feet, muscled like a proper fighter, who carries only a three-blade tipped chain and a nasty skinning knife. By the time a common man's eyes get up to the bone-mask over his face, most are ready to run. The mask is usually hanging from his hip, unless he's putting in work.
  
  Yet when he is wearing the mask and the leather hood is pulled over his head, he'll fight like a demon -- undaunted by any obstacle.
  
  At some point in time, Khelagar clearly decided he wasn't intimidating enough. Or, he simply stuck his tail in the wrong place. Either way, the flesh and fur appendage is gone; replaced by a bone-like length of metal covered in spear-blade spines and tipped with a war-scythe. The new weapon looks mostly mechanical in nature and links up with the base of his spine like any other tail.
  
  Clothing-wise, the jackal prefers making his own things. He's good with leather-working, so can be spotted in any variation of: arm and foot wraps; vests; exotic-looking trousers; hood-garments; and numerous obsidian rings -- although the latter's origin is unclear.

• The Mercenary

  It's not uncommon for the jackal to sell his abilities, especially whenever banditry would be too reckless for his tastes. During these times, Khelagar will work for a wide range of prices -- depending on what the task is. He always requires negotiations, however.
  
  When it comes to women, or men who make the mistake of contacting him while accompanied by women, the jackal often searches for ways to add her to the price. Various individuals have often capitalized on this by bringing a girl along to better increase their chances of hiring him. Naturally, Khelagar doesn't care if the woman in-question is related or just a slave.
