    ◘ If he believes he can get away with it, Varg will very likely try to con your character (I will roll a 1d10 to decide).

    ◘ Most often, he'll do this by selling a supposed charm or enchanted item which is, in actuality, junk.

    ◘ Mages and other magically-inclined characters have a one in three chance of catching him in the act (roll 1d3).

    ◘ Particularly shrewd, but non-magical businesspeople have a five in twenty chance (roll 1d20).

    ◘ All others may roll for a reveal via luck, should they choose (roll 1d50).

    ◘ Players are not required to roll, if they prefer that their character not catch Var in the act during the transaction.

    ◘ Unsatisfied customers are more than welcome to come after him once they've brought their item home and discovered it doesn't work.
