The Seven Lines

• History/ Religion

  Once apone a time the Great goddess and the Moon goddess looked down on earth and to their dismay saw the chaos and pain created by being of blood and darkness. They threatened to eradicate humans and other beings of the light.
  
  The goddesses looked at each other. The being of dark where needed just as much as the light; so the moon goddess stood with her bow in hand. "I shall go and find seven families of great honor, pride and courage to protect those who can not." The great goddess agreed.
  
  The goddess found seven family who proved their bravery to her and in each family she found one who was the strongest and shot an arrow in their heart. " You are the Mythros of your line only the strongest who knows of the darkest and the lightest of things may claim this title." With that she gave each mythros a blessed weapon.
  
  
  The first Vampire Hunter war was fought in 1211 in Ireland. The hunters won but at a great cost. Losing an entire line, with two others dangerously low on numbers.
  
  The Cleansing, was a Cross Mythros idea in 2000's when vampires threaten to out number humans with their rate of creation.

• Vida Line

  The Vida Line Started with Sara Vida. Sara was a brave girl who strived to be as strong as any man, after being forced to watch her mother be raped in front of her by a Vampire (being of blood). Sara sought out the Vampire who'd hurt her family. Tracking him for four long week Sara finally slammed a Silver knife in to the vampire's heart.
  
  When the goddess of the moon saw this she knew she had found her mythros. Gifting Sara with silver knife the knowledge to make poisons that would slowly kill a vampire just from a small cut, and last element magics
  
  The vida line was the first to have a law book dictating what it was a hunter could and could not do while hunting and protecting humans.
  
  Vida creed; We swear to use our strength to protect those who have little.

• Cross Line

  The Cross line was founded by Cody Cross, a seer from high in the mountains. Cody one day saw something horrible, a covan was coming to wipe out the small village of only 250 people at the bottom of his mountain . Concerned for the village he grew up in Cody race down to warn every one he could. The Villagers laugh most of them didn't even believe in Vampires let alone Cody seeing ability.
  
  After trying for two days Cody decided to met the problem head on. going to wait for the coven of 25 vampires at the crossing bridge Cody fought them off using only his staff (and the long fall off the bridge) to fend for himself.
  
  Close to death, still able to hear the screams of his villagers as the last of the vampires who survived passed in to the village the Goddess of the moon came. "dear, brave soul let me give you the strength to keep fighting." And with that the goddess bless his staff and empowered him with Blood Magics, Cody rose to go to his village to fight off the few vampires who remained.
  
  After the 1211 war the Cross Line broke off to become mercenaries and assassins. Those who chose to go back to the hunter lines are some times not offten but some times branded Rouges.
  
  (out of all lines the Cross line is the least strict and has the most taints)
  
  Cross Creed; by our blood, the blood of the innocent shall be saved and the wicked shall fall.

• Kithran Line

  The kithran lines was started by Jordan Kithran a sailor boy who offent was seen on the indian ocean. When docked it was not unusale for Jordan to play gambling games with Vampires. One night a vampire accused Jordan of cheating and swore to get Jordan back after being beat almost to death by the Sailor boy.
  
  Jordan however; didn't see the need to take the threat at face value as he got ready to sail again. Every time he docked a large coven of vampires would attack him and the docking city. Each time Jordan got the attention of the vampires (offent by stealling something of inportance) and lead them to see to save the innocents at the docks.
  
  In Avrilave a docking city much beloved by Jordan the coven was waiting for him as he docked. Without any weapons Jordan met the vampires head on, done with the game of cat and mouse. the large coven of vampires where knocked out one by one till only the leader stood. "Boyy you have done nothing to detour us! My children will wake and rip your throat out!"
  
  "May be so By I will never give up with out a fight!" the hand of the goddess touched Jordans shoulder as she appred She blessed his hand each with a kiss, but before she could bless Jordan with a gift of magic the eager boy and ripped out the heart of the Leader vampire with his own hands.
  
  Kneeling in front of the goddess Jordan spoke. " Goddess thank you, for with out you I would have surly died!"
  
  The goddess kissed his forehead and smiled "Now I bless you with the magic-"
  
  "Goddess forgive me but you have given me too much already, I can not take another gift from you, only tell me how to serve you."
  
  Humbled by the modest Jordan she smiled "Only this protect those who can not themselves in this world of growing shadows."
  
  After the 1211 war they were cursed to have the same hunger as the Vampires they fought the hunger for this line comes in three levels. Blessed Cursed and Twice Cursed. Those who are blessed need only a cup of blood a month, cursed a Kithran will need a cup a week and those unlucky enough to be twice curse need a kill every other week.
  
  Kithran creed; Bare hands and hard work keeps the world safe.

• Conner Line

  The conner line was first Mythrosed by a blind boy of the name Cry Conner. Cry loved to play metal oars his father brought him after mining. Cry spent his days naming and classifying these oars for the village he lived in to get an idea of how much to sell them for, as well as helping the over sight of sales.
  
  Vampire lord Remedy Came to buy the mine and village making every one who lived there his slaves, including cry and his father. Remedy forbade the boy to ever pick up an oar again. Cry who was still young at the time saw he had no choice, for now atleast. As the years passed Cry in secret bilt him self out of his favorite oars two swords and practiced whenever he could.
  
  On the Day of his 16th b day Remedy Came to take Cry's father away. Cry stood his ground not willing to let the child Vampire take his father and only family away. Cry fought with Remedy till he clasped from exhaustion. Remedy laughed and left the village to morn.
  
  The goddess of the moon saw this and rubbed her hands together blessing the boys duel swords and gifting him the power over the metal he so loved, she gave him a second fighting chance.
  
  Conner Creed; Shape and mold to protect and guard

• Scorn Line

  Mythrosed by Amethyst Scorn a shifter from africa. Ame love to run jump climb and speak with animals. She looked after her wild life and villages. An epidemic of Vampires rose to threaten her village and her animals. Useing all her cunning and her trusty spear for five years she protected what was hers.
  
  On the eve of the sixth year Ame was ambushed by a coven of medartrainan vampires. Laying broken half in loin form half in human form Ame cried out to her Huntress who answered.
  
  "Dear child, may the moon bless you." Kissing the girls forehead she gave the girl strength again and a new spear. "Now fight, fight for your home, fight for your family, fight for your animals!"
  
  
  Scorn creed; the flow of life is as ever changing as we; never lose sight of those we protect.

• Smoke Line

  A humble Healer Named Able proved his strength when A russian Vampire by the name of Ian Came for his sister and mother. Offering himself instead Able begged the vampire to take him, saying that his blood had magic in it and that it would taste better and give more power to the Vampire.
  
  Ian amused at the boys begging agreed and took Able as his slave after three years Able was turned into a thall. A year later Ian went back to the boys village and forced Able to watch as Ian took the lives. Even though Able was thrall he found a way to behead Ian.
  
  The goddess of the moon (now dubbed but the hunter lines already made, Huntress) Stood where the family alter had been set up and tilted Able head to look at her. She striped the Thrall away for he would surlly die in a few days. "Able smoke rise, be blessed Take this " she handed him a strange shadow wire "And serve me to protect those who can not"
  
  After the 1211 war The smoke lines broke off from the hunters to become only healers. They founded and drew a truce between hunters and Vampires who wanted to be as human as they could.
  
  Those Smoke who chose to hunter are branded Rouges.
  
  Smoke Creed; Heal and mend, but do not neglect your fight.
  
  Smoke creed after 1211; All beings have human souls, we need only to reach out to them.

• Bethnal Line

  A sweet calm in the face of revolt a young princess named Cloey Bethnal showed her true spirit in the windy plains of her homeland. For years Law such as a curfew keep humans and vampires happy. If you broke curfew or other laws you would be feed to the vampires. As a compromise/ truces with the vampires, where not to touch those who where not breaking any laws nor out after curfew. Every year came the Reeping.
  
  Reaping was where a selected number of families must give up one child between the ages of 13 and 18 to the vampires.
  
  Things went well until the vampire population grew to great and Vampire no longer fallowed the laws that kept them happy and the humans safe. The kings of the plains land turned a blind eye on this, bt his doughter Cloey would not stand for it.
  
  Cloey every night snuck out of the castle and shot down vampires who were not following the laws. She ofent went to blood bashesh to thin out the most powerful of them all.
  
  Soon however she was discovered by her father and locked up. With in a week the people of the kingdom revolted. Cloey knowing she didn't have a change while she was locked up banged on the door to draw rebels attention. Once out Cloey took control of the Revolt and lead her people to cut down the large numbers of vampires.
  
  Once peace was restored The goddess smiled upone Cloey in her throne room. "Dear girl for knowing the minds of your followers as well as the minds of the vampires I grant you the gift of mind bending. " With that she blessed the bow the girl used.
  
  After 1211 this lines was scarce on numbers. It was even said that a spell was casted on the battlefield to make those of this line Gay.
  
  Bithanal creed; Calm in the face of our enemies we serve the Huntress

• Ikol Line

  After the war of 1211 when hunter were few and a whole line almost erased, with two others on the verge of extinction, an Elf named Izzy command her troops of solitary elfs to help combat the rising rate of Vampires. Having Dark elf blood and a hunger to match the vampires these Elfs where uniquely qualified to be the new line of hunters.

• Shades, rouges, taints, human

  Rouges are hunters who broken off from their lines but have not broken any hunter laws so are entitled to keep their weapons and magic Rouges are often branded, on their left hand.
  
  Shades are Hunter who where found breaking hunter law they often have Taints. These hunters are stripped of their magic weapons and name. This is often seen as the same as killing the hunter, for with out magic or weapons the Leech are sure to make a fast meal of the hunter.
  
  Taint A personality split due to the breaking of big hunter laws. A taint often has magic and Charistics of a different line.
  
  Human hunters; Though rare it has been known to happon where a human chose to train with the lines (A vary high honner not earned lightly) and may even be able to join a line if proven worthy.
