    Things have been.. rough, to say the least. After a whole lot of searching, I managed to find a job on a small shipping vessel that transports goods to and from Guildereim. It's not the best job, though. The pay's shit, my boss is a chauvinistic asshole, and I'm stuck on a boat, surrounded by water, for days and weeks at a time. For the first time in a long time, I've had money in my pocket that actually belongs to me. And even if the rest of the ship's crew liked to make their little catcalls and dirty jokes any time I passed by when I came aboard, at least they became more tolerable after I snapped and knocked them on their asses. Must hurt their pride, to be such big strong men and get themselves beaten by a scrawny girl.
    
    It's not the job that's been rough. It's the way the job keeps me away from the island and the way it anchors me to my old self, oddly enough. Luckily, I made sure that we would be on land when the last full moon came about. I thought that I could handle it if I just tried hard enough. But it seems like the harder I tried, the more control I lost. I killed three people.
    
    Even the killing itself wasn't the roughest part. The part that's hardest to deal with is that I don't care. Naturally, the wolf enjoyed it. After it ate the first victim of my moonlit rampage, it hunted down the other two purely for sport. I know this should bother me. But after the initial shock wore off, I felt.. good? Satisfied? I'm not even sure. Whatever it was, though, I tried to shut it off and turn my conscience back on. But the most I could manage was numbness.
    
    I'm back on the island now for a few days or weeks or whatever. For however long it takes for the crew to find another job to take. But honestly, I don't know if I'll sign on again. It's just.. not for me. In fact, I'm pretty sure the legal life isn't for me, period. After the last full moon, all I've been able to think about was working for him, and the thrill I got from it. The legal life just leaves me feeling like I'm hollow on the inside. And as much as I know that I should really stick with it, and try to get my humanity back.. Letting go again just sounds like so much more fun.

  Another friend from Val's initial days on Guildereim, and probably the closest thing she has to a best friend currently. He helped her get back on her feet upon arriving back at the Tether.. plus bought her a bunch of booze. That always helps.

  	Baukis (played by unlikelynominee)
  An old, good friend from Val's first stay at the Tether, and one that she was ever so relieved to find was still on the island when she returned.

  former boss... || If you've read the second part of Val's history page, this is the man who was Val's boss / captor for the past two years. Obviously, this wouldn't be a happy, fun-times sort of relationship. Probably a lot of drama, some dark psychological stuff, potentially a capture plot, et cetera. If you're interesting and/or have any ideas inspired by this role, send me a whisper!
  
  kate... || A girl from Val's past, the closest thing she ever had to a romantic interest, and the person that Val was certain that she killed. I've been toying with the idea of someone playing Kate who, much like Val, was turned into a werewolf by the attack that should have killed her. Whether their relationship is still positive or turned negative with the whole werewolf thing is up to whatever we come up with. But I would love for someone to take this role. Whisper me and let me know what you think! c:
  
  employment... || Val is currently on the search for a job. This could be something legit or something illegal, though the latter sounds more entertaining to me OOCly. If you've got any ideas, hit me up!
  
  sire... || The werewolf that attacked Val and left her for dead, or so Val believes. Whether or not the turning was intentional is up to you. Could be a positive or negative relationship. Let me know if you're interested!
  
  those turned... || As Val loses her grip on humanity, her attacks on humans increase by the month. So, it would be reasonable if she ended up turning someone. But considering I'm not looking to make a whole damn pack of werewolf progeny, I'll limit this to one-two people max. Whisper me with your ideas! <3
  
  past friends... || Before coming to the Tether, Val was a member of a gang and afterwards, belonged to a small group of homeless young adults that eked out a living together on the street. After leaving the Tether, Val also interacted with other people in underground fighting rings before being captured. If you're inspired by any of these potential relationships, let me know!
