The Basics

  A sigh quiet enough to not be heard over soft music, but mind-bogglingly creepy enough to make anyone who could hear it shudder. The sound of metal, grinding against the ground is worse, and louder than the soft music in the background. A man cringed, and people shuddered as the sound sent chills down their spines. "I know that you're here".
  
  That voice. No one could forget that voice. The sadness in it, the fear... The pure, violent rage. The majority of the people in the room had no idea what the imposing kid was talking about, although this was supposed to be a private meeting. They all wore masques, and some took that as safety, but trembled behind the black and white pieces of sculpted clay.
  
  "Why are you hiding her? Where are you hiding her?" the child tilted her head to the side, looking at something in the corner of her eye, the floor, someone might assume. Finally, someone spoke up. "W-who do you mean?" a man whispered sheepishly, before speaking louder to try and show some 'bravery'.
  
  "You. . . You know who..." the child grips the hilt of her weapon tightly, anger radiating around the room. The man took off his mask and bowed his head, "You are just a child... Your ga-games should be played s-somewhere else." fear hid behind his voice, showing his cowardliness. Suddenly, the child's rage seemed to come out of her body in the form of a black spike, shattering his masque as he held it. "Y-you know her! You... Y-you're working for her, aren't you?!"
  
  "No! P-please leave now!" the man nearly pleaded. The girl’s eyebrows lifted up into a slightly worried look, and her left hand kept a cold grip on the arm wielding the blade. She mumbled something that drew his speech to a halt, and as the other people leaned in to hear what she said, she kicked him into the wall and pinned him there by the shoulder, with her weapon. People gasped and people whispered.
  
  “Stop whispering.. Why do people whisper so much? I wonder.”
  
  People stopped their whispering, but she acts as if she still hears something. The man pinned to the wall looks at her, when their eyes met she pulled the blade out of his shoulder. "It’s..." she almost said something. The man wiped some blood off his tux jacket, frowning unhappily. It was obvious that he was a very muscular man now; somehow the people wouldn't have thought it before. The girl takes a step back as he begins to speak, “Yep.. It’s been a while” he grins in a disturbing way that might make you shiver. The child took a deep breath, staring at the man with deadly intent in her eyes. “You never got my name, did you? I’m grim.”
  
  Grim’s hand curled into a fist and he swung it towards the small girl. She slipped to the side, and Grim fell forward. As he did this, the girl’s blade flew towards his head but his arm blocks it. Blood drips to the ground near the child’s feet. People began rushing for the door to the elevators.
  
  As the rushing began, her opponent grabbed an innocent to block another attack. The poor young man died on the spot with a sword in his head. She got angry, enraged. The girl swung faster, and the man dodges and block with objects –or people- around him. The fight went on for a while, and the girl grew tired from this. Grim grabs her by the hair and swings her into the wall, a blast from his soul hitting her in the back of her head. She got up shakily, and landed the final blow in his neck, nearly decapitating him.
