• Half-Fae

  Elora's mother was Queen of the Fae and her father, a human. It is rare for a powerful Fae to mingle with humans, much less procreate with one, but this was one such union.
  
  Half Fae, due to their Faery blood, have the gift of magic. It is not as strong as that of their Faery parent or other Faeries. The strength of their magic is usually dependent on how strong their Fae parent's magic was.
  
  Elora has potential to be very powerful, though she is naive to most of her capabilities. Having met very few powerful faeries in her lifetime (thanks to the war that her parent's union caused), there has been little opportunity for training.
  
  
  The Fae are wondrous enigmas to the outside world. They are revered for their beauty and the draw about them. The fae use glamour to keep humans, lycans, and vampires from becoming hypnotized and mesmerized by their true appearances.
  
  The Fae are very elemental in nature. Finding their strengths and gifts from the elements such as air, water, fire, earth. Most fae have strong hands of power in one of the elements.
  
  Fae are commonly tricksters and cannot pass up an opportunity to play a prank.
  
  Fae -cannot- lie. They can deceive, they can play on words, they can trick the mind, but it is impossible for a fae to out and out lie.
  
  Fae are weak to Iron as it is man-made and not natural. In half-fae this works more as an allergy, though it can cause pain and if exposed for a long period of time can cause permanent damage.

• Gold Dragon

  Gold dragons are the most powerful of the metallic dragons, and the most dedicated to defeating evil. They spend the bulk of their lives in human form, seeking out evil and punishing wrongdoers to the best of its considerable abilities.
  
  Combat-wise, gold dragons prefer to talk rather than to fight. They will never engage in combat if they believe it is unnecessary. Once they believe it is necessary, however, they are amazingly powerful opponents. Their ability to breathe fire rivals that of the eldest red dragons, and they will pour their entire being into a battle against evil. Gold dragons dislike killing, but they do not hesitate to do so if it is necessary in order to defeat an evil foe.
  
  All dragons collect gold and treasures but the gold dragon prefers it's 'shinies' in the form of art. They are most likely to collect paintings and statues, though gold and gems are also coveted (and gems are sometimes consumed).

• Abilities

  - Flight - Both Fae and Gold Dragons are excellent flyers. Elora is no different. Her wing-span is impressive and she can reach great speeds in dragon form.
  
  - Summon Familiar - Aantara, her panther familiar can be summoned with merely a thought. The familiar was a gift from her parents, linked to her via a small tattoo inside her wrist. If summoned in combat - 3 preps.
  
  - Telepathy - Typically she only uses this if someone has first contacted her telepathically.
  
  - Shifting - As both a Fae ability and Dragon ability, she has become quite skilled in altering her appearance. This can be something minor, like hiding her wings, or something more significant like shifting to her dragon form.
  
  - Elemental Magics -

  Fire - Strongest - creating and manipulating comes to her with ease.
  Earth - Some knowledge - still fairly untrained
  Wind - Some knowledge - still fairly untrained
  Water - Weakest - untrained

  
  - Detect Evil - Somewhat of a sixth sense for gold dragons, though having spent time as a Vampyre she seems a bit more in-tune with evil.
  
  - Water Breathing - 2 hour limit in Fae form. Indefinitely in dragon form.
  
  - Fire Breath - (Not learned yet/dragon form) The dragon can expel a cone of fire in front of it.
  - Hot Air Breath - (not learned yet/dragon form) The dragon can expel breath over an existing fire, filling the area with hot, dehydrating air.
