    Young and beautiful Bryzain had yet to marry, and once she lost her father to a wolf attack (during an under-manned hunting party) one particularly harsh winter, she also lost any desire to find a man of her own. She and her mother survived, becoming quite self-sufficient over the following year until she actually befell a similar fate. Becoming a [were]wolf, she unintentionally murdered her own mother in a wild and hungry rampage. Surely, waking up naked in pools of blood would only further her horror...

    Plucked from the muck by a werewolf hunter, she does not actually realize what she's done as far as killing her mother and since their travels began has only changed one other time.
