    • OoC: To My Rping Friends March 1st 2014

      (This is an OOC update and thus is not from Rokir himself.)
      Hey guys. So, just like it's always been with me and Furcadia, role-plays, and the internet in general, I'm being forced to take a much longer break from plots and such because shit happens and my life is sooo dramatic of health and personal issues. I'm still on Furc, working on a post-apocalyptic feral dream called Scrap City that I started way back in 2008 or so as a de-stressor. I'm an open book, as always, so if you'd like to know more just whisper me on Scrap City or Kanaille (my old main - some old Furc fogies might remember me as Kana from The Junkyard).

      I feel... so guilty about this. I hate it. I hate seeing your lovely names in my Pounce and thinking "oh god they probably think I'm just the flakiest person ever" or "shit I really should rp with them. I'm the worst," but I am under too much strain to enjoy getting into serious rp. Please don't ask me when I will be coming back to RP. I don't know. I know it will happen, because it always does. Usually these "bust" periods in my cycle of internet activity last no longer than 6 months, sometimes even as short as several weeks. Clearly we're getting into the "month" category here.

      I miss talking to you guys, though. Please, pleas whisper me. I recently lost most of my Pounce list in a data transfer, so I may actually no longer have you on there and can't remember how to spell your alt name or something. I'm a spaz. ._.

      It's nearly Yule already, and though the days pass for me far quicker than those of mortals, it feels like an age since I have set my boots upon Guildereim's shores.

      There was a bit of a family scuffle involving my father, Hroth, and his menagerie of courtesans, which required my assistance. In my absence, I have fretted after Anatoliy's safety and wondered if it were foolish of me to leave so suddenly after our first evening together. I offered him little explanation at the time, as I knew little myself, but... I have hopes he will forgive me for my absence.

      The dramatics on Jötunheimr have thoroughly instilled a need for some measure of stability in my life... I do not wish to follow in the footsteps of my parents, bedding anyone and anything I deem interesting instead of investing my heart fully into relationships. I believe I am ready to commit to Ana now, if he'll still have me. I shall have a house servant call him to my suite at the earliest convenience.

      What have a done.

      I should not have allowed myself to become this attached to a Midgardian. I remember Modir once warning me of the heart-break that would follow, how, even if they should be immortal as I, such a relationship would only lead us both down the path of ruin.

      Yet I have allowed myself, under the guise of lending a strong shoulder on which to cry on, to wonder at the possibilities. It isn't right. Anatoliy, that sweet, golden-hearted lamb-of-a-lycanthrope, is in no place to be taken advantage of. In my youth, I would have cut this at the quick, bedded him and left him with sweet words of apology before either of us had the chance to invest ourselves. I cannot do that this time. He needs me, or... someone... and I am the only one.

      The temptation last night... His endearing touches upon my knee... Somehow, the God of Words, son of the Trickster Liesmith, is failing miserably to describe the emotion, the acute, throbbing ache beneath his breast.

      So far, I have been able to resist what my heart (and in no small part, my loins) have longed for for centuries; a companion. A lover. I have already revealed much more of myself than with previous men, and I fear my resolve is weakening with every agonizing, breath-seizing minute. This island is stagnant. it is a dreadfully boring cesspool of evil and debauchery the likes of which I've not seen before. Ana, however... Anatoliy is the single burning flame. A red-hot, flickering candle of purity and energy.

      I... know not how to proceed.
