Zahlen is an intellectually ravenous polymath with a specialty in bio-alchemy and the medical arts. While this is her main skill, her passion lies in the study of the natural world and the mechanics of life itself. One of her greatest strengths lies in the range of fields she studies: Alchemy, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Biology, Zoology, Entomology, Botany, and Mycology among others. While her studies may not reach the comprehensive depth of somebody who has studied a single field for their entire life, she is able to achieve valuable insights by synthesizing knowledge from a variety of sources. Despite evidence of a vibrant internal experience, her outward presentation is intentionally- aggressively ordinary. Rest assured, this is to avoid interest and scrutiny. Her life has gone down some dark paths that have left her haunted.

Positive Traits

• Despite her nature as a pain-eating construct, she doesn’t usually act on sadistic impulses.
• Quite the opposite in fact- She has tooled her ability to sense pain into a sort of psychic medical monitor. If she’s hurting you, it’s because she can’t help it or she’s doing it on purpose.
• When she is focusing on a particular project, she can easily tune out distractions.
