Jessi Blue

I found a town not too long ago, was a good place to stop. It was incredibly fortunate that I decided to stop there. I met a curious vixen, easy to spot that she was from another land. I started a conversation with her and turned out she is an experienced warrior in need of some coin. I just so happened to need some coin as well so I offered to team up with her. We found a simple bounty, hunting some bandits in the area. Needless to say it was easy enough, though I could of done without the begging the bandits that surrendered did. But after seeing Sadei in combat it inspired me to ask her to train me. She accepted and has started my training, I did not realize that I was doing things so wrong and undisciplined. I have learned a few words of her language such as Sensei for teacher, Katas for the specific stretches that she does, Naginata for the polearm weapon she uses, and a few others. But after our first day she pulled out a Vegvisir medallion. It caused me to remember my father handing me one when I was young and telling me that it would show me the way when I was lost. It shook me, I almost broke there infront of her, in the middle of the tavern no less. I had to leave in a hurry so I didn't loose it. It took me most of the night to regain control of myself, once I did Fenrir told me I should follow my fathers advice. The Vegvisir would show me the way when I was lost, well I can't get anymore lost than I am now, and she is an honorable woman willing to teach me. I chose to follow her on her journey and continue learning under her, I apologized to her the next morning, and explained what had happened and my decision to follow her. Sadei accepted me.

I have started to remember things, Fenrir has shown me my past. My father and brother, and how I lost them. Now I know why I feel like my life doesn't matter, how useless I was to them when the time came for me to defend them. Fenrir said I had locked off my own memories out of fear and pain, and he will help me remember, that is the only way I can begin to regain my honor. I only keep this journal for my sake to see where I started, so much has already happened to me. But that is something I will tell if it ever comes up, I am not proud of who I was, and the skills I have learned. I can only hope to atone for all the dishonorable things I have done.
