• Voodoo Lady

  Amoya was raised into the life, by her Mother and Grandmother before her, on the very island she inhabits too this day, she had never known any other life. On her island, she practices the ancient ways and lives a mostly self-sustaining life, even after the passing of her Mother and Grandmother. Because of the internet and television, she has developed to be a lot more embracing of modern culture than her parents were before her, and as such, is able to blend in rather well, only donning her traditional garb and elaborate make-ups when celebrating festivities or practising her craft.
  
  On her island she rules all, because of her power and influence there, no one good or bad dares mess with anyone they see there, even their mortal enemies, for fear of incurring her wrath. She demands the island be safe for all who come to her seeking help, the only exception to this are those who incur her wrath, then nowhere is safe.
  
  Living alone can be a burden though, a lonely one. When she is in particular need for company she will travel to the mainland, or even sometimes, further, and spends weeks at a time immersed in the cultures. he is particularily fond of New Orleans.
