  Natural Ability
  ▷ Siren's song. The soft, silken tone of his voice may make those little hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. The gentle clicks and rumbles that reverberate in his chest have a comforting quality, and soft song-like notes can be entrancing. When given time, and in the mood to bother, he can use his voice to manipulate the emotions of others.
  
  ▷ Aquamancy. Though he's not very skilled in other magic, the cecaelia has found the manipulation of his world's primary element to be quite handy. Aiding him in things such as keeping up with finned folk, or water whips to fend off potential harm! He's only just begun to practice in temperature change - hoping to learn to freeze or boil water at will.
  
  ▷ His system high in chromatophore, the octo-man can change color. Mood heavily influences this, but it can also be done by choice.
  
  ▷ Ink. It's a defense mechanism. In his legged form, he can shoot ink from pouches on the undersides of his forearms. He can also do this in his water form, but also has access to pockets of ink between tentacles. It's deep, dark blue in color - and yes, it stains.
  
  ▷ Barbs. He can shoot these, too, from his forearms - like spiderman with his webs. They're poisonous, but not lethal. This can only be done once per day, and it hurts... so it's often avoided.
  
  ▷ Cartilage based bone structure. Both a good and a bad thing. For one, he's very very flexible and can fit through nearly any space about the size of his head - which makes him sort of a special case for confinement. The down side is he's squishy and fragile as fuck.
  
  ▷ Hearts, he has three. Two bronchial hearts pump blood through each of the two gills resting at the base of his rib cage, while the third is a systemic heart that pumps blood through the rest of his body.
  
  Learned Ability
  ▷ Land-walking. He hates the transformation with a passion, the burning sting of flesh melding together and bones haphazardly growing in a matter of seconds? Painful. Besides, who wants to walk about with dirty air-breathers anyhow. Force or heavy persuasion required.
  
  ▷ Healing. Having spent plenty of time passing through a number of merfolk settlements, he managed to learn from a conclave of healers how to use his water manipulation for the artistry of healing. If he and a subject are both in contact with natural sea water, he can heal their flesh wounds at cost to his own health.
  
  
  Disadvantages
  ▷ Very, very poor proprioception. This mean he often has difficulty telling where his limbs are without being visually aware of them. IE: His tentacles have minds of their own, sometimes.
  
  ▷ Land sickness. Having absolutely no difficulty defending himself in the water, the cecaelia is rather physically defenseless on land. Having only had very, very little practice with land-legs the cecaelia is clumsy and weak on land. Which can be comical, in a way. Ripped but useless. Gravity is hard, yo.
