  Mav was the first born child of Niggarus and her breeding partner, Kurn. She was the only egg to survive in the clutch, and as such, was spoiled compared to most young utahs growing up. Her mother taught her everything, as her father was nothing more than a provider- of both genetics and food. Males were hated in the family, treated like the lowest of the low, thanks to Niggarus' own abused past, so Mavros was taught to belittle males just as her mother did.
  
  Eventually, a second brood was hatched. A brother and sister, while Mav was still young.
  
  The family was growing well and Mavros was reaching her adult years when their parents managed a third brood of eggs. Sadly, this came during the time of the great migration. The herds moved on and the heat became too much in their homelands. Stubborn and afraid, Niggarus refused to move on. This ended up cooking their eggs. Discovering thing was what sent Nig over the edge and the family finally followed the rest of the herds to the promised lands.
  
  All was not well on the journey, though. Larger predators, deathly tar pits, starvation and eventually sickness took all of Mav's family from her. By the time they arrived, only she remained...
