Name: Buttons - To be honest she doesn't find this name nearly fearsome enough, but it kind of stuck.

Nicknames: Kitten, Kitty!~, good-girl, baby-puss, your highness, asshole... really depends who you're talking to.
Race:Bakeneko - A demonic, nightmare-inducing cat.
Alignment: Neutral/ Evil-ish - Like most cats, she will often default to evil thoughts or suggestions, though she's quite capable of doing good as well. Ultimately, she will do whatever it is her master wishes.
Age: Appears to be a young adult in her human form, is more like 800 years old in reality.

Nationality: Hard to say, In her humanoid forms, she appears to be a mixture of Japanese features, and caucasian. She will speak with the language and accent of whomever she is speaking with.

Scars: None, her quick healing capabilities make it so that only a very serious wound would even have a chance of scaring her.

Personality: Very much cat-like. She is slightly self-serving, gluttonous, unresponsive to demands, clean, willful, slightly lazy and at times extremely attention-seeking. Buttons is always willing to manipulate to get what she wants and is often secretive and impish. She can be a bit vindictive when she's angry, but since she's less than intimidating in presence, a lot of people don't take her terribly seriously until its too late. To that end, she is extremely dangerous and not to be trusted by anyone except those she is bonded to. She can be downright obnoxious when she's in heat or when she wants something, she is persistent, and not at all interested in trivial matters such as boundaries or personal space, or the things she's knocked off the shelf.
Mannerisms: Preens herself constantly. She is a bloody incredible liar, and she is very graceful. She enjoys being pet, particularly under the chin. Lazy, somewhat vindictive.
Likes: Being pet, fish, milk, good conversations, doing what she wants to when she wants to. Warm soft things, and sleeping in the sun, attention but only on her terms.
Dislikes: Dogs, being collared or caged, being underestimated, being woken up. She is not overly fond of clothing or shoes, She hates being dirty and would rather starve than eat cheap food. Though she enjoys a warm bath in her human form, she does not tolerate being wet under any other circumstance.

Buttons started life as a fairly ordinary kitten. She was adopted by a loving family straight from the litter, and she grew up playing with their children as a common street cat. For a while life was idyllic, but it couldn't last forever. As her human's aged, she peculiarly remained exactly as she was a youthful looking, slender Havana brown cat with a peculiarly long tail and a penchant for mischief.

Eventually, her humans became suspicious, particularly when she began to manifest abilities and talk telepathically with their youngest son. The professional they hired to investigate her called her a bakeneko, a demon, and with that resolved, Buttons found herself immediately turned out onto the street.

It was a harsh blow for a cat who had grown up quite used to the luxury of family and civilized comforts. For a while, she struggled, in and out of pounds and always searching desperately for her next meal and a safe place to sleep. The realities of life on one's own weighed heavily on her until she was left with only one choice. Keep moping and live out what was left of her pathetic life in a trash heap snacking on diseased city mice, or rise above, become the monster she was always meant to be and become so powerful she should be worshipped like cats were in the days of old.

The climb back to the top hasn't exactly been easy though, for one thing, it's hard to get people to fear and respect you when you're so damned fluffy and adorable. She is very good at being bad though and the perfect loyal familiar for anyone who craves power, or simply has the patience and wherewithal to deal with her. Buttons herself has ideations of world domination, but she'll settle for being lavished with attention at all times.

Shape Changing: Buttons can change her shape into that of a woman, but will not do this for just anyone. Mostly only for her bonded, and in situations demanding a human disguise. She can also take on a neko-human hybrid form, in which she retains her ears and tail for their functionality. She prefers her cat form above all else, and dislikes the fully human form.

Healing She is able to rapidly heal wounds, the lighter they are the quicker they heal, whereas a more serious wound might be more difficult and time-consuming to heal. She is able to share this power with her bonded, but cannot do so for others.

Telepathy: She is able to 'speak' telepathically in her animal form, and prefers to do so in her human form as well, though she is capable of actual speech as well. She can read her bonded's mind if he permits her to.

Nightmare creation: Bakeneko can be terrible monsters if given reason to be. She has the ability to terrorize the sleeping with horrible dreams, and can indeed enter their dreams passively as well to gain secrets. Some will even eat the people they dislike as they sleep, though Buttons does not enjoy the taste of human flesh. Buttons can also consume a soul, and indeed enjoys this very much, but it can have serious negative effects to her personality for a time depending on the purity of the soul she consumes.

Floating: Buttons can levitate herself, and can even sort of fly slowly, but only for short distances.

Enhancement of power: If whomever she bonds to has control over magic, Buttons can make the power stronger by acting as a sort of amplifier and familiar to them, as well as allowing her to share her demonic abilities with them for short periods of time.

Reanimation: A dark art that only the evilest of Bakeneko can do, she can create zombies, but only if she is influenced or encouraged to great evil by her bonded person.

Fire breathing: In situations that call for it, she is able to defend herself and her bonded with fireballs, that she coughs out through her mouth, much like a hairball.

Bonding: Like most cats, Buttons would prefer having one person, whom she is solely loyal to, preferably someone who treats her nice, and whose potential she can bolster. Until she is bound as a familiar, being caged or collared robs her of all of her supernatural abilities, and traps her in the form and abilities of a cat. Having her tail cut will rob her of her abilities in their entirety.
