• Bio

  An art student, she may be found most often up at night or pondering while wandering (sometimes even pandering, panhandling)...doing various night-owl things. There or in the studio. Now and then she works at a diner, other nights she guitars for a band, sometimes she even serves a little coffee. Constant struggles for M.A. include those between her inner child and emerging adult, her anxiety and paranoia, obsessive compulsive disorders. Some PTSD after a house fire in her teen years.

• Disaster

  ...strikes, in devastating ways. For Mary, it was as a housefire in her mid-teens. The blessing of losing everything though, was a mostly clean slate. Even she found herself guilty of surviving, and questioned how much blame was hers even moreso than the police had. Because of the uncertainty surrounding the event (and her sanctimonious aunt having sent her away, complaining of nightmares and migraines), any remaining family denied her sanctuary.
  
  Schoolwork had never really been a problem and even without parents to remind her, Mary's grades and independent work qualified her for emancipation at nearly seventeen. After finding employment, she managed to get on her own two feet and graduate early. With enough on her plate, she decided to keep college at bay to explore creative outlets. Frankly speaking, she found classrooms and the hallways they occupy to be tedious and frightful.
  
  Now on her own, Mary seeks balance between her emotional quirks, creative tendencies, and what the rest of the populace keep referring to as "normal."
