The greenhouse sits on top of the forecastle where the livestock is kept, it is a small shack with glass walls and ceiling to allow the sunlight through and keep the inside fairly warm with recent modifications being made to allow three glass frames to open on a hinge in order for water to flow to the rain-catcher that is set up inside, enough to collect three gallons of water during heavy rain while an irrigation system made from tubes constructed from driftwood allow the various pots and containers of earth to receive proper water levels with a filtration system set up to de-salt the water flowing through it. ~UNIQUE ASPECTS~ Clockwork Birds
As well as being very green with plant life and being capable of supporting livestock, the Harbinger can also be seen with a dozen small birds flying between the rigging, perching on the masts and even fluttering around inner decks! These are not natural birds and are made of metal with a clockwork design, created by a pretty little metalworking genius to act as messenger birds capable of crossing great distances without tiring and resisting harsh weather. When not in use, they act like natural birds and add a lively atmosphere to the Harbinger. |
Captain Nykita Aymen ~NPC Crew~ Jake
Age: 16 Species: Canine Mutt Height: 5’5” Weight: 180lbs Reference: Personality: Jake is very simple-minded, to the point of being comical; missing obvious details like the winning hand in poker, not understanding reasoning behind politics but always looking at the bright side of life and strives to do make every be happy, wanting to have fun and grow up to be famous. His lack of social understanding and etiquette makes him the type to point out things even when others find it rude to do so i.e openly remarking that a King or Queen looks silly in a hat or has bad make-up on without considering the consequences of his words. Description: Ex-slave; scrawny and thin, the mutt stood ten feet taller in his mind and was positively brimming with energy. Donning the simple garb of loose pants with high hems, leaving his bandaged feet free of any shoes as the hardened soles of his feet were so used to rough terrain that the deck of a ship or streets of a city were of no concern to him. A comfortable shirt that looked one size too big for him hung off his shoulders, usually lop-sided to the left or right and needing constant adjustment. The youngest and no doubt the most enthusiastic of the Harbinger crew, it is of no surprise that he often finds himself with a nice bump on his head from the older and more patient crew giving him a nice thunk to have him settle down. Best friend of Annie. Annie
Ex-slave; short bristly hair and a rough attitude had the mouse easily mistaken for a boy and after acting like one for so long, it became like second nature to the mouse. Scrappy and not afraid to show off the nicks and scars she had on his face to prove it, she was dressed like someone who already lost most of their clothing in a fight with the sleeves of her shirt being ripped and tattered at the shoulders, a hole in her pants around the knees and bandages wrapped around the knuckles of her hands and soles of her feet. Nevertheless, the young mouse has found a reason to smile and is frequently breaking her rough demeanor to do just that with her best friend, Jake, at her side. Alonzo Brias
Akuryou Academy; a former student of the school of young assassins, the enigmatic man was most often mistaken for a neko when in fact he was half-calico and half-human; twitching and swivelling ears sticking out of his shirt dark hair, a long tail and slitted feline eyes on his mostly human could fool almost everyone about his nature. Possibly described as youthful, one could spot the presence of age in the form of a goatee on his chin and soft crackle to his voice, with his taste in clothing being a few pegs above that of a sailor with a preference for fuller outfits; a form fitting shirt with love sleeves and high collar, a leather vest over-top and a belt containing his rapier and dagger, followed by comfortable pants and a set of swashbuckling boots. Suave in both mannerisms and his Frrench accent, he is usually found sipping at the various wines in the galley. Katerina "Kat" Sorokina
Terzo Co. Associate; knee high boots and smirk were enough to summarize the ravenhaired puma who enjoyed swinging around the double-headed axe she had strapped to her back. A tough customer to the boot, she was forward and had a boisterous laugh, a likeness for beer and big appetite. Her simple-to-understand ways hid a surprising amount of intelligence though. Scars
Arena Slave; Scars was a very fitting name for someone who was utterly covered in them. The wolverine towered over others at nearly seven feet tall and brimming with corded muscles that stretched out the scars across his skin and let them show through the dark brown fur as streaks of pinkish-white. Some streaks were more jagged, others were perfectly shaped teeth marks. Left ear gone, right eye permanently closed beneath a straight scar that stretched from his forehead to his jaw. The silent giant could be found sleeping in the most unwelcome of places; corners, the top deck in the elements, beneath stairs... and had very little to say. Through the intimidating exterior, there was a happy little smile that was usually seen on his scarred features as he enjoyed the simple things; eating fresh vegetables and helping others on the ship. Maria D'Eltoras
Seahawk; a marine through and through with the tattered remains of the once elegant jacket and pants being reduced to blue vest patched with multiple other clothes stitched on to let it remain the same with short sleeves, still baring the insignia of the Terzo Company. Pants to match the jacket, keeping true to the blue style while weather-worn boots remained sturdy and reliable even after years of use. Long hair kept in a tightly controlled ponytail, keeping her yellow gaze clear. A layered bandoleer crossed her chest to contain her pistol, cutlass and musket on them. There was always a sense of structure to her behaviour and actions, very militaristic in her demeanor. |
