    "'Twas a haven, an Eden, where the lavender maned unicorn was born. Another world from the one she now walks, a place where beings of myth and legend found sanctuary and solace from the evils of Earth. They lived in harmony with one another and their home was beautiful, flourishing with promises for lives untainted by the wars and greed of mortalkind. This realm was named Luster.

    She was born to Althea and Morpheus, Princeess and Prince of Luster's Unicorn Court and was christened as Antheia, for the newborn was birthed in a field of flowers of Luster's sprawling valley. For two years, Antheia was loved, happy and safe in her mother's care. She was ignorant to the threat shadowing Luster and the world beyond, where men and beast alike had been lusting for a way to Luster. They wanted the spoils of the mythical Eden and the secret of immortality from the unicorns themselves.

    And when the time came that Antheia's younger sister was to be born, the ancient gateways leading in and out of Luster were torn asunder. Men, assisted by powerful Mages, flooded into the haven to begin a War. But twas a war to be unknown by Antheia and her newborn sibling.

    In a desperate attempt to save their children, Althea and Morpheus enlisted the help of a powerful friend and sorceress, a Geomancer, whose magic was that of the Earth and its secret pathways. The Geomancer blessed the young fillies and opened a secret door to another world where they might be spared from Luster's inevitable demise. They were left on the side of a dirt road leading into a small village, bundled in blankets and sleeping peacefully in a patch of tulips.

    Antheia and her sister, Aba, were found by a kindly soldier and he took pity upon them. He brought them to a covenant and left them to be discovered by the Catholic nuns that tended the Church and its surrounding valley. The nuns welcomed the two unicorns into their Church, naming them 'Lily' and 'Abigail' for Antheia did not speak English and Aba had only a small piece of paper detailing her name, which they thought to be a shortened version of 'Abigail' and her birthdate.

    So for the next sixteen years, Lily and Aba were raised as Nuns. Learning the ways of Catholicism, of how to say prayer and read the Holy Bible in both English and Latin. They learned music and choir, how to garden and cook and tend the sick. It was a peaceful life, although Lily never truly took the beliefs of God and the Bible to heart. She always had doubts, always had an inkling that a Nun's life was not for her, that she and Aba didnt belong in the Church. But alas, she was duty bound to the Covenant and had not the strength to leave without her younger sibling, whom enjoyed being a Nun.

    Torn from home by war as a baby, a tender-hearted soldier took her to the steps of a Catholic church in a neighboring village and vanished. The nuns that lived within the confines of the church took her in, a poorly scrawled note containing her name and date of birth found folded in the blanket she was swaddled in. Her name, "Aba" was derived from Greek Mythology, but the nuns mistook it as a shortened version of Abigail. So they took in the girl Abigail and raised her in the church, teaching her to read and write both in Latin and English, play the piano, and placing her in the choir. She was raised a devout Catholic, and unquestioningly adheres to the restrictions placed by the church. She devoted her time to helping the poor, cooking meals for the less fortunate nightly and afterward teaching both children and adults how to read. Aba was 16 when she was displaced yet again, this time kidnapped by practised criminals that had watched her for a week, having devised a rather sinister plan that would result in selling the delicate flower into slavery. They nabbed her on her way back to the church, knocked her out cold, and sailed to Guildreim, where they sold her to The Golden Tether.
