• Description

  Born of a poor family that could barely keep food on the table, Marcel fought hard to raise himself above his situation. Early in his life he realized men liked him, and began to invite their attention, wrapping them around his graceful fingers and flirting his way through the wealthy men in his district, charming them into showering him with gifts and attention. His parents were ashamed by his actions though, and soon threw him out of their home. He jumped from bed to bed after that, trying to charm his way into peoples lives. It barely kept him out of the poorhouse though since his lovers would only keep him over when their wives were away, and by sixteen he was becoming desperate, enough so that when a well dressed gentleman approached him on the street one evening, he went with him without question, only hoping for good food and a warm bed for the night. Later, when the man offered to set his family and him up for life, Marcel threw his freedom away without a second thought, thinking he might have at last found his paradise. 12 years later, he found himself replaced with a 17 year old girl who was announced as fiance to the man, Marcel himself sent to the Tether, spoiled and unprepared for such rejection, or to be told by many he was getting too old for his position. He was still attractive though, face without blemishes, hair thick and full and body still svelte and youthful. He had a surprising amount of muscle on him too, and hardly any fat. His favorite pastime was swimming, the best way to keep in shape, and one of the easiest.
  
  Not long into his second day in the Tether Marcel found himself approached by a graceful, charming gentleman. Soon purchased and given another cushy home the man disappeared from the Tether completely a couple weeks later and hadn't been seen since, not a whisper mentioning anything about his fate. Until recently.
  
  The same, yet strangely changed, not anything obvious, just the sense that something was different. Inhuman. He was a free man now, yet seemed a bit lost, Usually hanging about the one familiar place where he felt welcome, the Island of Guilderheim, though now and then he could be spotted at new locations as his confidence increases.
