Spider-Man 2099

Spider-Man, A.K.A. Miguel O'Hara is a Marvel character created by Joey Cavalieri, Peter David, and Rick Leonardi. This isn't the Miggy from Spider-Man: Edge of Time or Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, or any appearances in movies; rather, he's based on the original comics, up through issue forty-four, which marks when Peter David left the series.

I base Miggy on that series, though take a few liberties here and there to make potential stories more interesting. For one example, the aesthetics of the two suits do come from other works, though little else comes with them. For a second example, Miggy being thrown through a portal through time and space. That frees him up to be anywhere, anywhen; he can be alone in a strange land, or he can be home in his Nueva York--the possibilities are nearly endless. Ultimately, I'm looking to help create a good story, and am more than happy to work with or around elements to serve that end.

I don't expect or "need" a partner to know the first thing about the character or his history. I'm not necessarily looking for role-play centered around Marvel in general or the 2099 universe specifically. Miggy can be anywhere, any place, any time. All of this is here just to show where he came from, but that doesn't mean he'll necessarily have access to the people and such that he's used to--my main concern is writing a good story. Everything else can be altered to suit that. As such, a partner is definitely encourage to offer up any ideas or the like.

Ideally, this would be a one-on-one story, as I think only having two players helps keep the story going smoothly as well as makes it easier to create or recreate the world as we see fit, for whatever would suit that story best. I like to think I handle N.P.C.s well, so the world can be fleshed-out as it's created. I write about one to three paragraphs, and I'm usually pretty prompt with my replies; once or twice a day is usually my least-frequent. I won't ghost on you, and as much as I like chatting OOCly, I keep OOC and IC separate.
