Jack is not particularly friendly, per se, despite having been well socialized he's rather difficult to engage especially if unwilling or otherwise occupied. While life outside his colony is new, and while he conducts himself with certain reserve, he is very confident and self assured in the decisions he makes. Always careful not to make mistakes. Jacklyn's known as a frugivore, meaning his primary diet is fruit despite his dietary classification primarily being herbivore. His favorites are different types of fig related foods, which typically cover all his basic needs, from protein to calcium, etc. It's not uncommon that he'll eat different types of tropical leaves as well, or even grass (but you won't catch him).

Jacklyn will generally be more active in the evening, because he's technically nocturnal. However, he can be awake during the day, he just doesn't function as well and is prone to heavy migraines as a result (and a worse-than-normal attitude).

╚It's rumored that Jack's actually a runaway slave and that the scars across his back, chest and inner arms are whipping/cropping scars.
Jacklyn never ran away and has never been a slave. He left at an adult age to travel the world. The scars on his body are from his steampunk arms. They connect to his nervous system using some sort of magic. However, Jacklyn has brothers (who look very much like himself) who are currently, to his knowledge, slaves out in the world. It might not be uncommon to mistake him for one of them.

╚Relating to the first rumor, there are murmurs that Jack isn't who he says he is at all, that his name and identity are all farce, as is the money he spends.
Jack is well-traveled and hardworking. All the money he's earned is his own. However... there is some truth that he may not be everything that he says he is.

╚While seen often in the company of pallid creatures rumor is Jack has a thing for albinos, but is a ho in general.
This is true. He will also make you face away.

╚ADDITIONAL INFORMATION╗

╚With the territory of being rare and exotic comes poaching and deforestation, where he alongside his brethren are hunted for meat and pelts. While Jack is considered an endangered species, he's not unfamiliar with being called exotic, among other things. Because of his home experience he doesn't typically share his definite species, expressing only that he's a Flying Fox Bat. He's likely to deny anything more.

╚Echolocation does not apply to the fruit bat, whose sense of smell and eyesight guides him above all else.

╚(Spoiler) ||While Jacklyn lived in a colony of bats, he comes from a small cult among the mass. He has magical properties and creatures incline to sense magic may sense a great deal of magic coming from him. His particular family practices in voodoo and dark-arts, and while he's technically considered a witch in some fashion, he stubbornly chose to pursue a practice in steampunk technology instead.||

╚Jacklyn comes from a colony of about 150,000 or so bats, roosting with other Flying Fox Bats and King Crowns like himself, though the later is much more rare and poached enmass for their rare skin. He's not the dominant species reigning over the Philippine islands, but he is the biggest. However, for the convenience of body heat and safety the two coexist despite obvious competition for food and general resource. Living conditions are often crowded and full of disease, but since these species roost along the riparian zones and use the rivers to clean frequently, virus and disease are less prominent within the colony. Jack has been fortunate enough to escape all disease and fungus related death.

╚Jacklyn is the eldest among four--and counting--full blooded siblings with many younger half siblings. He has two younger brothers and two younger sisters, needless to say his family is quite expansive. The first year Jacklyn left to travel his father was killed by poachers, right after the birth of his youngest sibling, and was harvested for his colorful pelt and the tender meat beneath. Jack's younger brothers went chasing after the poachers shortly after Jacklyn's disappearance (traveling), to seek vengeance for their father's demise but they too fell victim to the very poachers they sought to stop. Luckily, instead of being butchered much like their father, they were instead sold into slavery due to their exotic appearance for a hefty coin. With their species bordering extinction they were considered quite rare.

╚Jacklyn comes from a culture and community where bisexual and homosexual behaviors are fairly common, if not the standard norm. Being that bats are mammals with the highest percent of same-sex interactions--his colony being no exception--he's been privileged to live in a community with little repercussion or oppression of sexual identity, and as a result hardly shies from such engagement. Jacklyn is actually a solid 3 on the Kinsey scale, he's had sexual encounters with both male and female bats. He's not classified as bisexual however but rather pansexual due to his having laid with several different species.
╚Additionally (nsfw): Jack's genitalia varies slightly in design and size comparing to the natural genitalia of a King Crown. For one, he's smaller since his anthropomorphic form and features allow him to sexually engage more easily, so his length's been lopped as a result. He appears natural and appropriate to a mammal of his size and stature.

╚With that said, Jacklyn likely has children he's never met before, but his community doesn't live traditional family structure. While he knew his father, (as did his brothers), it was their mother that took care of him and his siblings.
