The Stables
The stables stand at the rear of the property, behind the tall hedges marking the edge of the gardens. Crafted fo slat and stone, this building is a two-level establishment. The bottom is an open set of stables, kept clean and layered with fresh hay. The upper floor contains living quarters for the farmhands, the stable boys, as well as a large storage area for horse tack. The stones were quarried from the island itself, harvested from large boulders, so are mostly pale in coloration, yet all possess a good deal of various seashells embedded in the material.

"Honor" is a large, dapple grey gelding. A retired warhorse, this beast has aged well into a mellow, level-headed mount. No longer serving, he still carries himself with an air of majesty and is always a being of pride when under Biers' saddle.
Honor, unfortunately, died when overseer Biers and Eliana were ambushed by bandits in the jungle. -
"Mist", never Misty, was a gift from Biers for Elly after the loss of her horse, Sassy, to the nagas. Mist is a fiesty, spirited young mare, absolutely perfect for an experienced rider. High-strung and energetic, she is an absolute delight for Biers' little kitty. -
"Gaston" is a stocky Mustang-cross. His gentle temperament, excellent for timid riders, under the saddle pairs well with his frisky playfulness when released into the pasture. Gaston is a mischief-maker, often refusing to hold still whilst being tacked up without plenty of offerings of apples and oats. Once strapped in he makes for an excellent ride, as he is not one to spook easily, nor does he possess any bad vices. -
Known only as "The Twins", these two glossy black carriage horses are so perfectly matched that they are, in a way, a demonstration of Biers' wealth. These horses want only to work and do not participate in the nonsense caused by Gobbers.
The twins drowned during the storms and flooding of Guildereim in '19. -
Keeping with tradition, the two pale horses replacing "The Twins" were known only as "The New Twins". One male and the other female, this sibling pair of horses radiate wealth as well as their predecessors. Younger though, the stable hands did have more trouble keeping them out of trouble, especially when egged on by the other horses' misbehavior. -
The infamous "Gobbers"! This bossy little black mini stallion was purchased because his strutting prance at auction had made Elvyra laugh. Dear to her heart, the little horse is an absolute terror-- Named Gobbers for his habit of biting, this guy is the root of all nonsense whenever it breaks out in the stables. Too clever for his own good, about once a month he manages to break all of the other horses out of their stalls for a jolly midnight run through the grounds and surrounding forest.
