WHO AM I? A looming frame of chiseled alabaster painted in elegant hues of saffron and crimson; this suesai was a mass of pure muscle. The canvas of him rippled over his powerful build, pulling taunt in places where old battle scars were barely noticeable along his pale velvety fur. The grim set of his features, leaned to a compelling air of authority-- something raw and primal. A demeanor only further influenced by his near nudity. He wore only a sea-foamed hued sash around his waist; letting the material fall in a skirt that swayed with each thunderous step.
Amnesia. As a direct result of head trauma sustained while breaking out of servitude. It has been a few years now, but the side effects are lingering long after the wounds have been healed. As a result Red has forgotten random chunks of his past. This can include locations, people and events. He may also interpret the flashbacks he does have incorrectly because he does not have all of the memory needed for context.
This is a long term plot for a reason-- and he can not be healed by magical means. Nor do I as his player want this problem solved quickly. It's meant to draw out interesting events and unique situations between himself and characters who would be important to his story. But also the amnesia makes for a good cover for involving new people in his past more easily-- so if you'd like to establish some kind of history with this angry fishcat? Please do reach out. -
Water ManipulationA typical ability of the suesai species which allows them to preform all kinds of interesting aquatic feats. Due to his age, Red has figured out various unique ways to use this ability to his advantage. Including, but not limited too these examples:Venom Bite✦ Able to condense streams of water into 'jet' like propulsions for the purpose of traveling faster, to create an offensive attack, or to build a protective shield. They have been known to tear through wood and organic mater if he's angry enough.
✦ Able to create a 'bubble' around a non-aquatic person, trapping oxygen around them to let them survive under water. It lasts only for as long as he is able to concentrate on it, however, these bubbles do have limited supplies of oxygen and do build up with carbon dioxide as it is exhaled. Recommended not to be used for long dives.
✦ Though he has no real ability to heal others-- submerging himself in water helps boost Red's own natural healing response. However if you submerge him into muddy water? Due to his orange lineage he will heal even faster.Common in males of his species, Red is capable of producing a venomous enzyme that can be injected into his victims through a bite. He can control if the enzyme is injected or not. The effect of the poison is correlated directly to the dose received. Known effects are as follows; bleeding, kidney failure, a severe allergic reaction, tissue death around the bite, central nervous system damage and eventually lead towards respiratory failure if left untreated. The most common cure for it is the saliva of a female suesai, who have natural antibodies against the poison.
Mud ManipulationThe orange line of Titanus seems to have a strange affinity for mud-- and Red is no exception. In the years leading up to his exile, the Guardian grew quiet skilled in manipulating this portion of his bloodline. He has learned many ways to use this to his advantage, but his most known strategies have involved the following.
✦ Red is able to dehydrate soil and clay to harden them rapidly for the purpose of creating projectiles, spears, or even protective walls and domes.
✦ Able to create a 'smoke screen' effect in water by rapidly swirling up soil and silt. This clouding effect holds his concentration, and while he is focusing on it? He is able to exert his effort in an attempt keep Suesai from from clearing the effect with their own water manipulations. He is also able to override natural tide and current effects to keep the water from clearing while he is focusing on the effect.
