He came between the dragoness and Ees when Ees accidentally walked up on the narrow ravine where she'd been hiding. To appease her wrath he agreed to help her get rid of the dragon who'd stolen her hoard, and taken over her lair. It lead to the start of a tense friendship between the two. Some time after that, he taught her to shift to a humanoid form, and their friendship changed to a sort of on again off again pseudo relationship. However has not seen her for a few years. |

Another Bard. Merin bought an odd lute from a peddler that he'd suspected had been stolen, and soon found the owner. The two quickly became friends, Merin finding himself doting on the small skinny 'human' The two have discovered they quite enjoy playing music together as well. They have since been through a lot together, adventures, danger, joyus moments and loss. Merin is thankful to have someone like Ees at his side. |

Very large Dragon-thing. Some sort of half blood? The lumbering beast seemed a bit harsh and grumpy at first, but Merin, being accustomed to grumpiness from his adopted brother, seems to have befriended him. Merin however, does not approve of the half-dragon being a pit-fighter, but was unable to persuade him away from it. |

He wrote her a song when she cornered him in his human form. When she discovered he was a runt, she mocked him for it. When they met a year later, she needed his help and he reluctantly agreed. While she hasn't changed -much- the dragoness is not quite how she used to be, and little by little the two have developed something that is almost, but not quite a friendship. Or at least they did. She's since vanished, and Merin suspects he knows why. |

"Sorry I scared your horse." Merin met the strange scrawny man in the forest on his way to Yveridia. The encounter was brief, but Merin found him rather interesting, and hopes they cross paths again. |

Merin befriended the strange and troubled helmeted man by buying him wine. The Bard is however, uncertain of how to actually help him. For a long while he suspected the man had died, but eventually ran across him again, under another name and without his helmet. However, that was the last time he ever saw him and Merin has no idea where he is now. |
