  • Grooming: Extremely well put together. She devotes a lot of time to keeping herself healthy, asthetically appealing, and in good shape.

  • Personality: Driven, confident, slightly competative, gentle, studious, but not afraid to rebelious at times. Works hard when she needs to, parties hard when she doesn't! Usually sweet, and unassuming, but she is smarter then most would give her credit for.

• Backstory

  Maiko was born and raised in Nexxus to her Mother Ana, and Stepfather Todd. She never knew her real father, and Ana will say nothing about him, but never lacked for love or attention. She remains close to both Ana and Todd who still live in the city, in the house she grew up in, only a half hour from her new home, a dorm room at the university, where she attends both the dance academy, as well as a couple of other, more academic classes.
  
  What her parent's probably don't know, is that Maiko has also been dancing at a club in the red light district on the weekends for the last two semesters. She's not hiding it from them exactly, she's just not sure how to explain it to them. She actually really enjoys the job, at least parts of it, though the seedy underside of the job sometimes gets to her.
  
  Maiko is moderately OCD, and takes obsessively good care of herself and her belongings. she does not like being touched without warning or invitation. Being a very driven person, she is always working to better herself, and between dance, schooling, work and studying she often overlooks sleep and meals in favor of one of the other commitments, despite being obsessively healthy in other regards.
  
  On the off chance she does score a free night, she can party with the best of them, happy to find trouble or adventure as they come. She is rarely alone, or inactive, and never seems terribly tired, though she doesn't seem to find much time to sleep. If she is on her own, she's usually playing multi player video games, where she can interact online with others. People close to her might notice signs of burn out occasionally however, though she is very good at keeping it to herself for the most part... one wonders how long it can last however...
