Diet: Can survive on a regular diet of fruits, veggies, and meats but it takes thrice as much to do so. Howlers normally eat a diet of human flesh.
Weapon: Claws, Teeth, and a breath weapon (depending on the Howler's ability and type ex: Howler born of Fire will have a Fire breath weapon)

Environment: Adapt to any environment but is most adapted to darkened areas
Circadian Cycle: Nocturnal
Organization: Typically very a loner and a bit anti-social (simply feel like everyone around them as prey), however the progenitors can not live without each other and constantly seek the touch of each other.
Physical Traits
◆ Glowing eyes with no pupils in feral form and beautiful golden eyes (with or without pupil, also with or without glowing) in human form.
◆ Eerie howl behind all words that are spoken, breaths taken, or any sound that comes from the mouth while in feral and human forms.
◆ In both feral and human forms, teeth, nails, and toenails are sharpened to a razor point and glisten a beautiful white and silver that can cut through steel.
◆ No heart beat heard nor felt within their body, almost as if the organ is missing.
◆ Howler tongues are extremely elastic muscle, with minimal effort they can stretch their tongue several inches longer and bloat it up to more than twice its usual thickness.
◆ Horns (can differ in size shape and thickness from Howler to Howler) adorn the top of their head in feral form and is usually the first to appear when attempting anthro form.
◆ Feral form of Howlers will almost ALWAYS be very similar to Hellcats/dogs or Chimeras.
Background
Howler's are a Buddhist Lab Experiment; a mixture of Oni Worship and needle work. (If you think Dr. Frankenstein's time) These creatures can commonly be mistaken as demonic animals; such as, hellcats or hellhounds; depending on the form they take. The word howler is only a base name for these strange beings; taken from the eerie sound they make when breathing, talking, or anything that requires air.
Creation
There is only 2 ways a Howler can come into being.
1. They were experimented on AFTER the progenitor's creation. There are still religious sects in Japan and possibly now all over the world that still follow the practices and myths as the ones who created the progenitors. OOcly, this would mean that me and Shamaya both would have to accept you as Howler and you would have to create a whole new character and profile.
2. They person drank the progenitor's blood at least 6 times. Their blood is like drinking decayed flesh and sulfur at the same time so many can't even get past the taste or smell and usually fail right there. The blood must be drank each time without puking. Each time the blood corrupts the person more and more offering a small increase in stats for a small amount of time. However, the blood begins eating away at the person's insides, slowly but surely, and is like a disease. The 6th and final time, the change or death begins to take place. There is a 60% chance the person will die and only a 40% chance they will survive. Even then it is uncertain if the person will become a full Howler or just posses some of the attributes. ****Please note!!!: OOCly, before you drink the 6th dose of blood, you HAVE to consent in a message that your character may die!! There is no coming back!!! This goes along with my rule of IC Actions yields IC Consequences!!! Please do NOT sit there and some up with some bullshit reason like "their soul is attached to different objects kept with trusted friends". For one that's OP BS, go back to playing Harry Potter and GTFO! Nor try to explain it by "oh well Miss. Mary Sue healed me!" Nupe! That won't work either as the blood had been eating at your character for a while at that point, corrupting them and eating their insides. There is no healing for this! If you want to try this way then be serious about it and don't be a pussy!!! Sometimes characters die! That's just what happens. Roll on, make another, and use the same commissioned art under a different name (after telling the artist). ;) When a Howler is made this way, if they succeed at being half or more, Howler automatically becomes their main species and all else will become sub-species. ***There CAN NOT be a subtype of Angel, Holy, Seraph, or any divine power subtypes at all!!!***
Levels
When one is first made into a full Howler, you do not necessarily get your own specific unique abilities. Even the progenitors started from level 1 and knew absolutely nothing. While the progenitors will help out their descendants by passing on the knowledge that they have at the moment, a new Howler still has no idea what they might become. Because of this, we are dividing it into levels which will be explained below. A Howler comes into their power through training, time, or stressful situations.
Level 1- Newborn Howler: A newborn howler will have the base stats of a typical Howler and CAN NOT take feral form yet!!! They have no idea what their own specific abilities will be.
Level 2- They can now shift to a Howler form which will not have too many traits to separate it form a basic Howler form. They are just starting to realize the basics of their own specific ability such as type. However, they can't control even the most basic skill with this ability. It comes at random.
Level 3- They are coming into their own power more and more! Their Howler form is now starting to take on it's own traits (ex: cold Howler would have a cold fire ro something). They can now control the basic skills of their own ability and one or two intermediate skills.
Level 4- Their feral form is now done taking on its unique characteristics and they can now use their own basic abilities easily and intermediate abilities are becoming less of a hassle. They are beginning to learn advanced skills of their power. They are also now starting to attempt an anthro form. However, they can not manage to get the exact traits they want to stay. The traits happen at random.
Level 5- They are now a fully capable Howler! They can morph into an anthro form and use advanced personal skills as well as everything else from Level 4.
Level 6- Alpha- Progenitor: Only the two progenitors can take this level (thus far maybe). at this level they have control over other lesser level Howlers, no matter if the others like it or not! Their word is law! They now have the ability to create other Howlers with their cursed blood. They also gain a second ability.
