    • Personality: having lived a life where things end up working out, he has become a relentless optimist.   • Physical Description

    Lariam is a tall, skinny elf with a rather pointed face and a long, prominent nose. He gathers his wavy red hair in a ponytail, tied with a teal ribbon, leaving some of it lose to frame his face. Behind his half-moon glasses on a gold chain, his eyes are a deep blue. You won't catch him wearing the same outfit twice, but his favorite things to wear are deep greens and blues with gold accents. Over that, he wears an emerald green cloak. He wears a ring on nearly every finger, and his long ears bear many piercings. He has tattoos down both his arms and a stud in his eyebrow.

  • Biography

    Lariam was born into a rich high elven family. His father was a very successful wizard and the son of a local hero who adventured his way into a noble title. His mother was from a long line of rich elven nobles, and Lari was their one and only child, and they had to try long and hard to have him, so they doted on him and sent him to the best magic school money could buy.
    Unfortunately, Lari is... not a good fit for this magic school. His learning disability and general recklessness get him kicked out of magic school Too ashamed to face his parents, he wanders the land, instead of going back home. Eventually, he gets taken in by a group of friendly mages who tell him "We can take care of you! You are not alone, you are like us. Don't you want to cast magic, unrestrained?" And young, naive Lari, not catching those red flags, thought it sounded great!

    They end up being blood mage cultists, but Lari made friends with them and they sounded very convincing, up until they said he had to kill someone, and they bring out a catfolk slave. Lari panicked, he only wanted acceptance, he didn't want to kill anyone- so he helps the slave, Zuri, escape, instead. They have to fight their way out, together, and pick up adventuring jobs together to get by. In Zuri, he found acceptance that he never did at school or in the cult, and he fell in love with her.

    His parents, who were worried sick, found him, he married Zuri, and it looks like he is going to live happily ever after, at least until his non-elf wife dies.
