Powers/Abilities:
Thor's main ability is to manipulate lightning (and naturally, thunder along with it). This can be done without his hammer, Mjölnir, which is used to channel the the lightning through his body. Upon Midgard he is able to manipulate the weather, causing it to rain, or grow stormy with ease. It is sometimes affected unconsciously, if he were in a foul mood for example. Thor's affinity with Mjölnir is so strong that even when damaged, as long as there is a significant piece remaining intact, Thor can use its powers. However due to the increased bond via Thor's lifeforce, if Mjölnir were to be damaged, Thor himself would perish. Thor can channel his godly energies through the hammer into blasts called “Godforce” so powerful that they can slay even immortals, although it leaves him in a weakened state afterwards. By throwing Mjölnir while grasping its leather thong, Thor can simulate flight, steering via his mental control while traveling and can hover in place by spinning the uru hammer in his hand. While throwing Mjölnir when hovering, Thor can use winds to keep himself afloat allowing him to appear to be in flight.
Secondly, Thor has an astonishing amount of strength, even for an Asgardian. Only Odin is stronger than him. He can lift well over 100 tonnes with ease. As is common with Asgardians, bullets and normal blades will not penetrate his flesh, as his skin, muscle and bones are far more dense than a humans. This also makes him heavier, and harder to lift or stumble. Mjölnir can only be lifted by Thor, and is a fixed point in space and time. This means that no matter where it sits, no one else may lift it; not because its heavy but because only Thor has the ability to manipulate its fixed point.
His strength increases further when he succumbs to “warrior’s madness,” a berserker rage, the mindless battle passion that increases a warriors strength tenfold. By chanting and performing an ancient ritual, Thor can also invoke the berserker rage to increase his strength.

Most of his powers are natural, but others were gifted to him by the Allfather.
Weaknesses:
While Thor is possibly one of the strongest superheroes in any Verse, he can still be affected by magic, or strong enough attacks - he is not invincible.

It is said that fully half of Asgard's wartime power resides within Thor. To that, it is said that half of Thor's power rests within Mjölnir.
