He combines the best of vampiric youth and old age. He has a modern sensibility and a dead aristocrat's impeccable taste. He knows exactly who he am. He is rich. He is beautiful. The question is, what can he not do? He has all the typical vampire skills: speed, strength, incredible hearing, healing, flying, mind reading – though he doesn’t like this one and use it rarely. He gained his skills by seducing and feeding from vampires far older and stronger than himself. By doing so, he imbibed their knowledge, strength, and skills. Call me a climber, he doesn’t care. He is now more powerful than most of the vampires still in existence.
Then comes his more technical skills, you could call them. Business dealings, financial trading, forgery of any kind – and he means any kind, money laundering, hacking – it’s just fun, lock picking – because I can, body disposal, crime scene clean-up – it you are trying to get away with murder. Call him a jack of all trades and a master of all, so far.

Gandrell is the silent partner in dozens of business ventures around the globe - it is how he has so many connections. He is a gambler by nature and has offered the venture capital in countless start up corporations. Luckily, he picks more gems than duds.
He is also very into philanthropy - giving generously to the arts and, on occasion, if he finds a diamond in the rough, will be willing to pluck that diamond and open up connections they might never have received otherwise. When Googled, his claim to fortune, besides family wealth, is his vineyard in Northern France. He is the owner and operator of a line of high-quality, top shelf wines. It comes in black bottles with very ornate decorations on the label. Written in blood red is the name: La Sang de la Vie (The Blood of Life). This, of course if a front to his actual business. Blood Dealing - responsible for finding rare and interesting creatures, procuring their blood humanely and taking it back to a laboratory where any impurities can be chemically removed and the blood synthesized and replicated. Gandrell wishes to provide a high-quality, delicious, source of blood for the supernatural population at large so life not be needlessly taken.

If you were to ask a room full of women about him, there would be a mob of girls, former 'lovers’, ready to pounce on the pour soul and tell them how Gandrell was the best sex ever, but to stay away because after he got what he wanted, he would never talk to them again.
