Each familiar, if possible, is fitted with a snug but not tight choker collar to signify their ownership. The gem is engraved with their given name on the front, and their master's on the back. They are loyal to Wren almost to a fault and to whomever the dragon has sworn to protect.

Peeble ( " pebble " ) is a gryphon of... unusual proportions. Its obscure breeding didn't dampen its spirit. The gryphon's excitable demeanor is surely infectious, and much like a feral dog, it loves to play fetch, love, and be loved. Though it is not always found right at Wrengosa's side, it is no more than a few moments notice away.
It is playful, affectionate, and can easily be won over with fish of all types! Its little wings do little in the way of supporting its weight for suspended flight; however, it is capable of carrying two people on its back (and a third if a child or light enough) like a ferry in the water for long distances at a quick pace.
Peeble's origins are unknown, even to Wren, but the two outcasts have banded together and are now inseparable. Wherever the little dragon goes, Peeble is sure to follow.

Lemba ( " lahm-bah " ) is a loving, protective gryphon. It serves as Wren's mode of flight transportation in the event that she is not or cannot assume her normal form. It is also responsible for gathering fruits and nuts for the group to eat.
Unless out foraging, it usually does not let Wren out of its sights. While it prefers not to fight, it will do so if necessary. Although its strength is minimal, it has a keen intelligence and often prefers to outsmart its opponents.

Gemma ( " jehm-mah " ) is a tiny little gryphon. Because she was her first companion, Wren gave her the name Gemma, Latin for jewel. She is a cross between a beautifully vibrant sun conure and a black leopard; however, she has mostly retained the size of her bird half being slightly larger than a normal sun conure, but no larger than a parrot.
Gemma relays messages on behalf of the dragon when necessary. Although this service is rarely needed, the correspondence she typically delivers is gemstone or jewelry pricing; then, the recipient attaches payment once a price is agreed upon. Once she returns to the dragon with payment, she will deliver the jewelry within two days (to give her time to rest) if it is light enough to carry.
In the event that Gemma cannot deliver a product, she will deliver instructions for meet up. This is typically used when it is more difficult to arrange a meet to exchange merchandise.
Overall, Gemma is very social. She is brightly colored with abundant plumage and very soft to the touch; she has a black, spotted underbelly, a long leopard tail, and vibrant tailfeathers. She purrs frequently and tends to be very loud.
